Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

Comments

At the rate of speed of this purge, will there soon be ANY sanity left in our government? The totalitarian madmen (and madwomen like the witch from San Francisco) see a clear field before them, and it's not likely they will soon stop willingly.

Donald Trump is now or soon will be irrelevant except for those on the left who want to put a stake in his heart and those on the right who cannot except reality. He is now reaping the crop that he in a large part sowed and cultivated. Regardless of the manner or legality of the election, he lost, it has been certified, and the next curtain for the next act is being raised. The actors are in place and the show continues.
As Shakespeare said:
“This life, which had been the tomb of his virtue and of his honour, is but a walking shadow; a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more: it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” MACBETH. Shakespeare
The challenge now, is for some political party to rebrand its self-using the foundation of freedom, respect, compassion, Fiscal responsibility, limited Federal control and equality of opportunity for all. The politics of group think & Party allegiance has produced this tribalism which is counterproductive to any sense of a self-governing society.
Most people are reasonable as individuals but irrational as a group, mob or movement. Even Hollywood knew that.

While the Capitol Premises Riot was a terrible piece of history, I do not see it as this hysterical "Crisis of our Democracy".

The real "Crisis of our Democracy" was the coordinated Democratic Socialist stealing of the election of 2020. We know how this cost President Trump when he lost to Covid Joe, America's first Idiot President, but what has yet to be discovered is where they (the Democratic Socialists) took the time to cheat in other down ballot elections. I am not convinced that Ole Coop really defeated Dan Forest.

Mitch McConnell needs to remember that at least 8 out of 10 Trump voters in his home state, in the swirl of all this outrageous controversy, would vote for Mr. Trump today unto the exclusion of himself, and it is good that Kentucky does not have the threat of Recall (at least I do not think so), or he would never serve out his full term.

Jim Jordan is a small guy, who is as tough as a lighter knot.

Pound for pound, one of best congressmen to dwell in the well of the House. Sharp witted, feisty, authentic, and always honest and always steady.

I know political "horse flesh" about as well as anyone in these parts and Jim Jordan is my "Sea Biscuit".

Alright ... this time, I am taking an extended break from my Stan Deatherage Facebook place here on FB, if only for no other reason, to show solidarity with the victims of the Big Tech Platforms' colluded Censorship, and as of late, obvious Anti Trust violations.

I will still continue to use my BCN FB space to promote some posts on beaufortcountynow.com - the largest online publication in the history of Beaufort County, quite possibly in this immediate region of eastern NC.

If you are interested in contacting me there, or, if you wish to join that moderated informational platform, which gets many multiples of traffic more than anything that I see here where I am involved. Additionally, BCN has a long history of displaying informative posts that actually teach as well as entertain; while keeping one abreast of real news, with far less unfocused conjecture ... and please feel free to register for a Membership if you do not have one already.

Becoming a Member, at varying levels here on BCN, allows for Members to private message one another, comment on posts written by a wealth of current contributors, or submit your own well considered and decently presented post.

The extent to which people are running scared of the leftwing internet bullies, every single comment on Breitbart is now being approved before it posts. Someone must have threatened them. It is time for legislation like Poland is moving forward on to put these despicable leftwing internet bullies in their place.

For all you Leftist snowflakes, yearning for your beloved "safe spaces", those welcome zones that you were indoctrinated to love, feel comfortable to frequent, where Free Speech will never steer you toward insecurity, know that the totalitarian communist regime of the CCP is laughing at you ... as their dupes ... as their fools ... as their "useful idiots."

It is less ironic that your kind hate the 1st Amendment to the benefit of our adversaries, but more natural that you were the spark that elected this, our first Idiot President.

Conservatives need to abandon all the bad actors in this censorship conspiracy - Amason, Google, Apple, Twitter, Facebook. What we are seeing is the fascist playbook, with elite businesses joining the political actors in shutting down free speech, rather than the communist playbook or government taking it over. Do your online buying from someone other than totalitarian Amagzon. Never "google" anything again. INstead "search" with an honest search engine like DuckDuckGo, Start migrating your social secmida contacts to Gab. The best way is to post both to Fakebook and Gab for a while, urge your contacts to use Gab primarily, and then finally cut the cord completely with Fakebook. Ditto with Twitter. Big Tech has joined the far left in declaring war on free speech and we do not need to sit idly by.

Great story Alex, as a metaphor, of what it could have been like before the next general election if there had been no coordinated, monumental Voter Fraud, perpetrated in plain site.

I enjoyed every word of this pleasant patriot dream.

All Patriots should follow Rush Limbaugh's lead and delete our Twitter accounts. In fact we should flee from all the Big Tech accounts possible that are engaging in this coordinated attack on free speech, our country and on our way of life. Further, Patriots should not do business with any corporate entity that is pushing this dishonest totalitarian doctrine down the throats of free people.

Many in the corporate world are actively working to transform or reset our world to reflect their vision of how things should be. They are opposed to our constitution and Bill of Rights and in fact are working to tear down Western Civilization itself.

If they are successful in their dastardly plans they will implement a worldwide neo feudalism on the free world. Their plans for making our grandchildren peasant serfs in their newly designed world just doesn't sit right with me.

I agree with your assessment. Of course the mainstream media has immediately chimed in on cue and will undoubtedly continue hammering away with their depraved narrative. I think the thing that has bothered me the most is seeing how many elected Republicans have used this contrived incident to, publically and with great fanfare, bail from the efforts to work for honest elections. How convenient and how pathetically disappointing.

Although, I do see a silver lining; now there is little doubt concerning who is who and where everyone stands. Obviously, the swamp is very, very deep and very, very wide.

Amazon is the one piece of the puzzle where losing any Section 230 Carveout would not hurt them.

What could hurt them in an Anti Trust breakup is how they handle their massive server business, or censor writers of books by decent, smart people. And, if they censor decent folk who they might have political disagreements with, they need no local carveouts.

My more libertarian opinion is they should not get any government carveouts, but what needs to be known is this truth of Amazon's /Bezos's utter disdain for the 1st Amendment to offer politicians the ammunition to not rush to hand over this plethora of local public benefits to this behemoth - Amazon.

In summary, by treating the Amazon leviathan like all other businesses, like the ones they damage and put out of business for good, it will be essential for local politicians to deny local government carveouts because of these discovered and well discussed censorship practices.
Commented: Sunday, January 10th, 2021 @ 8:56 am By: Stan Deatherage
Conservative should abandon Amazon, as should everyone who values free speech. Amazon has joined the Big Tech conspiracy against Parler by knocking the free speech social media site off their web hosting service with almost no notice. This was a far left totalitarian act by Jeff Bozos of Amazon. If you are into e-shopping, please use Amazon's smaller competitors. You can even use Amazon's site to find them, but just do not link to Amazon to use them. That would give Amazon a cut. Instead, once you discover who else is selling what you want, go direct to that smaller company's own site (NOT through the Amazon link) and buy directly from the smaller company.

Mozilla, the parent company of Firefox has announced it intends to "go beyond deplatforming" in censoring free speech. This is another company to avoid. A good and non-political browser is Brave, which was developed by a former CEO of Mozilla who had been run off due to a conservative political contribution he had made.

Poland's populist right Law and Justice government knows how to protect free speech and has a new law out to crack down on Big Tech if they try to suppress the legal speech of Polish citizens. The law creates a new court specifically to handle Big Tech censorship. If Big Tech censors lawful speech by a Polish citizen, they can apply to this court for an order directing the Big Tech company to restore the speech. If the Big Tech company refuses to comply, the court can fine them in a sum of over one million US dollars per occurence.

A somewhat similar bill to give redress to citizens whose free speech has been trampled upon by Big Tech has already been introduced in Arizona.

This is just separating the wheat from the chaff. We can't have a free Republic without credible free and fair elections. Those not interested in that result should not be supported. Those people have identified themselves.

A Republican Party at odds with making America great doesn't deserve the support of free citizens. Take MAGA out of the Republican Party and there's not much left other than corruption, cronyism and self-serving treason. Those Republicans rejecting MAGA are not worth supporting.

The modern Democrats have chosen a path of open socialism, globalism and totalitarianism. An opposition party that will not stand against such abominations must be either reformed or shunned.

I really wonder if the present day GOP is worth fixing. The way things are now we probably don't have time to fix it. Patriots should only support trusted people committed to saving our constitutional republic and our way of life. We no longer have the luxury of rolling the dice and taking a chance on suspect so called lesser of the evil characters presented before us. Our world is under full-fledged attack by evil.

Yes, on 6 January 2021 the Republican Party formally killed itself.

We can not let them win in 2022. They have done much damage to our Republic over the last 4 years, and they will do even more damage to our Constitutional Republic over the next 2 years, but, hopefully, enough Americans will be lifted out of their stupor of stupidity to vote with the patriots in the 2022 Midterms.

Then again, if the non patriots are allowed to cheat again in these elections, "all bets are off".

Regarding the "fools, their pawns, [and] their dupes:" I've got to really think about whether they should be punished or not, after all they have put me, my family and my friends through. This is a real test. I guess my mercy will depend on them and the magnitude of their crimes.

Of course if they win all bets are off.

We are seeing a Digital Iron Curtain imposed by Big Tech, which is using the incident at the Capitol the same way the Nazis used the Reichstag fire (and both were probably false flag setups from the beginning) to suppress their opponents. Both Apple and Google have demanded that Parler start censoring its site or they will no longer sell the Parler app on their app stores. Apple, Google, Facebook, and Twitter are all enemies of free speech and have a totalitarian mindset. Conservatives needs to completely dump all of them. Take a hammer to your Android phone - it is Google.

Commented on Tea Party 2.0

Given the authoritarian impulses of today's Democrats, I wonder if the Yellow Vest movement in France might not be a better model, at least before the left and anarchists joined in and started more extreme tactics. The Yellow vests blocked roads to shut down the French economy to stop President Macron's extremist environmentalist policies which would have cost French families a lot of extra money. French farmers also took farm machinery and blocked ports. Macron caved and reversed all of those policies. If the Democrats push forward with their eco-fascist Green New Deal, it will be time for an American "Yellow Vest" movement to stop it.

America became a banana republic on November 3, and yesterday confiremed it.
