Comments for Obama's Legal Muscle Resigns

Lawless Attorney General Eric Holder will resign today, leaving his top client Amateur Obama in a less defensible in regards to the long list of scandals that plague his administration, which well reflects The Amateur's poor ability to make wise or even truthful decisions. position

Gene, I told you to stop using that "hate" word, and all derivatives of it.

Just because Eric Holder may also be the first Affirmative Action AG, and we realize it, it does not mean we hate the man. We, John and myself, just expect justice from the Justice Department.

I agree with you, John, on the optics of pardon. If the Republicans gain both houed of congress, then maybe Holder will be finally prosecuted for his crimes.

Almost makes one want to vote for the establishment Republican Thom Thillis ... almost.

Holder is leaving now because the optics of a pardon would be much less humiliating to the Dems in the 2016 Pres election if he were a civilian vs. the AG....just my .02

It's typical, the very first responce to your "rhetoric" fails to mention any facts, court cases, etc...to refute the points you made. The best arguement made in the opening salvo is that you are a "hater", so tired of hearing that trivial responce.

No respect at all for Holder. And I challenge anyone to give 2 examples (that haven't been overturned by the courts)of anything his DOJ has done that showed his respect for the Constitution being applied fairly and equitably to everyone. (And please don't mention Bush or Cheney in a feable attempt to your opinion)

Tell me, and everyone else this John: As a former police officer of some notable distinction, do you have any shred of respect for Eric Holder?

I sense none.

Then, how can Democrats discuss the man's legacy without considering his lawless behavior? Is it about time that America put this former judge where he belongs - in jail.

We "win" by minding our own business? Are you serious? If the United States ever practiced the Imperialism it has been accused of, most if not all of Europe, half the Middle East and a good portion of the South East Asian countries would be colonies, but they aren't..I didn't think anyone would be able to defend Holder's horrible tenure without taking a shovel and digging up stuff totally irrelevant from the Bush administration. If you are going to defend Holder, talk about the specifics of what you think are the fine examples of his DOJ fairly executing thier duties to uphold the Constitution. Let Holder and your praise stand on it's own merits.

Thanks, Stan, for the reminder that both sides of the aisle in Raleigh have their share of "crazy decisions!!!!"

Actually the mental hospitals were closed when we had a Democrat governor, a Democrat NC House, and a Democrat NC Senate.

Maybe, the Republicans should re-open these essential institutions. This is what government does, or should do, not subsidies to corporations, film incentives, or welfare to those that won't work.

One day this all will end. It would be better to stop it now.

How do we distinguish ISIS "crazy" from Homeland "crazy"???

Maybe Republicans should re-consider the closing of our mental hospitals and shipping patients to communities and half-way houses, etc. --- or to jobs on Legislative Hill from Dix Hill in Raleigh!!!!

Just had our first Homeland be-heading yesterday. I suggest that we find, and kill Islamist terrorist where we can find them, rather than here.

Iraq was as good a place as any. We should have colonized the nation to the point that they were better directed toward a more productive exisitence.

I presume you are AWARE of the fact that all our bases in Iraq were on a line to the Gulf of Acaba already on the map. It appears to me OIL was more than a big motive over War in the Middle East.

The days of Imperialism are over, brother! It never works out and hate is the product and motivation for Terrorism. We "win" by minding our own business rather than drain our economy fomenting war across the earth. Democracy and Capitalism (done honestly) proved we could win the Cold War with Russia. Only when the world like and want what the US has do we really win the minds of people in despotic conditions. Nazi Germany did not last due to its greed and barbarism.

Are we doing the same under a guise of "fighting terrorists?" Homeland Security has already violated many human rights granted under the Constitution.

"Bush Lied, Kids Died!"

I seem to remember that 'Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and almost every other Democrat in Congress lied and Kids Died'(!), and then blamed their mistake on Bush/Cheney. Why? Because they are Democrats, and that is what Democrats do - thoughtless in practice, blaming in defense of their own mistakes.

Yeah, I remember all of that. It sure would be nice to have those bases back now in Iraq right now. I bet the Iraqis would appreciate us back in their pitiful country.

Bush's only mistake is that did not colonize Iraq, and use the oil money to turn that country around. He should not have allowed Colin Powell to convince him to enact the de-Baathification of Iraq. Huge mistake.

I would add: Try Dick Cheney for profiting over war / also George W. Bush for putting us in over lies about Weapons of Mass Destruction (if should have been "distraction")

Actually after I wrote this, and then heard The Amateur extol the supposed virtues of his fellow lawyer, I almost questioned: "Too tough Stan?"

Then later that evening, I heard Greta, another lawyer and truly no Conservative, tear into the incompetent dishonesty of Holder, and I remembered how much I forgot, or did not have time to mention all of this one Man's disreputable, dishonest behavior in the piece I wrote, and it hit me square: I would feel much about this man, America's top lawyer, if he was in prison for at least as much time they gave John Mitchell.

There are many "patriots" that feel this way.

My God, Stan---can the hate rhetoric or, at least bring it down a notch.

Heck, you now have what you want the Conservatives are still crying like children at the check out counter over the candy they insist their parents buy. I would take mine by the hand and give them more than a time out, brother!!!

ENOUGH pouting already!!!
