(commented on March 19th, 2016 @ 9:34 am)I'm not sure that touch typing class is needed. My 12 year old can type 60 words + 12 emojis per minute without any training.
We bring in MBAs at work and no one could possibly read their writing...but no one does because they never have to submit hand-written work. The good thing is that they can read their own hand-written words when they take notes. Most of them don't use paper anyway, as they type on their laptops or tablets.
Smartfella, what classes exist now that didn't exist at Jesuit High School back in the day? When a new class is needed, does the school have to drop a class to make room? I'm thinking yes, unless they extend the school day or get rid of summer vacation. Just a thought!

Before you call me crazy, consider that with 2-3 kids in the back seat, there is no energy or attention to use for texting. Besides, young parents have to keep one hand free to wipe noses and apply a bit of discipline (both are allowed under most states driving laws). Clearly we need a campaign to encourage teen pregnancy, "Kids are the Kure for Kareless Driving!!"

I just looked up images of the Piaster to include in this comment & noticed it is spelled "Piastre" on the bills themselves.

I have interviewed many Baltic immigrants who are "adult" and I find their opinions more valid than the students you claim would laugh at the idea of Obama the Socialist. If you had read the article without bias you should deduce that it was meant as a warning to America which is headed down the same path as a desperate Europe. BTW Did you know that Marx was really just a layabout who lived off his parents? No wonder he found socialism so appealing. It's the perfect system for the OWS generation.

Unfortunately the people that bought the place from my dad burned it down for insurance money in 1974? I think. Many musicians got discovered there like Jimmy Buffet, Oliver, Gordon Lightfoot, etc. My dad had a recording studio upstairs.
