Under the cover of Covid, and now in the shadow of the infamous Election Irregularities of that fated 2020 presidential election, with current emerging alleged election fraud in Nevada and Pennsylvania inconveniently slipping into the public discourse, there is proved a colluded ongoing Election Interference in the nomination of the Republican candidate, the likes of which has never occurred in our Constitutional Republic's history, albeit, the question remains: Do you support the plain-sight Election Interference of the Democratic Socialist party, employing its minions in their Propagandistic Media, and their Two Tiered Justice System?

Candidate for Beaufort County Commissioner

Platform:

We need to improve our education in Beaufort County, by continuing to remove Common Core, actively work with the state on the development of the replacement for Common Core.

Taxes, we do not need to raise taxes. This is the worst economy in our life and we certainly will not help the citizens by raising taxes. I have spent 28 years fighting taxes and have never met a tax I liked.

Beaufort County should not build a jail unless, and until the citizens have had their right to vote on the issue as required under the North Carolina Constitution. If the citizens do vote to build a jail, it certainly should not be in the Chocowinity Industrial Park. When selecting locations for a jail the principle of "Highest, Best Use" should be applied to the location so as to not damage the value of surrounding properties.

We need a government in Beaufort County that is responsive to our citizens not, oppressive. The attitude of the commissioners that believe they can circumvent the laws because they were elected to office is wrong. Elected officials should set the example for the people, no one is above the law.

Only Candidate Who:

Spent his own money, and time working actively to stop the jail.
Is a founding member of the Stop the Jail Committee.
Believes the people affected by the closing of Pungo District Hospital deserve a vote on the disposition of the hospital.

Political Beliefs:

The Constitution is the yardstick by which all legislation should be measured.
Taxes should be kept as low as possible, and only used for expenses that are absolutely necessary and permitted within the Constitution.
Citizens should be in control of their government, not government in control of the citizens.
Elected officials must remember they are servants of the people, not lords over them.
Governments’ job is to facilitate people and business, not obstruct and burden them.

Beaufort County Needs:

Government that remembers it is responsible to the citizens.
JOBS!! We must make Beaufort County more attractive to business.
Education that provides the skills students need to be successful and productive members of society.

Experience:

Over thirty five years business management, in combination with twenty eight in tax preparation and accounting.
Five years chairman of the Beaufort County Community College Business and Accounting Advisory Board.
Served on numerous non-profit boards and church councils as advisory member, treasurer and chairman.

Personal:

Married the girl next door. Viki and I met when I was four years old she moved in to the house next to mine. We have been married for 33 years.
Raised two children, we have three grandchildren here in Washington, with the fourth expected on September 12^th.
