Why We Quit Exercise Programs:
Senior Fitness by Jacob Maxwell
I lost 50 pounds and now add exercise to remain healthy. There are hundreds of senior exercise regimens on YouTube. I have limited yoga and karate training, so I will start with those warm up routines. The diet programs were trial and error and the exercise will likely be the same.
Due to knee problems and other youthful injures, my goal is minimum exercise. Some Kindle books mention 10 minutes per day... good start? The sheer boredom of gym exercise is a road block and walking 2 miles a day is not appealing. I know my limitations.
My first challenge is to reach Jacob Maxwell's "Chair to Stand Test" minimum of 14 repetitions in 30 seconds. Do no harm is a good thought.
