As FEMA sources reveal that partisan discrimination against Trump supporters by FEMA in hurricane recovery happened in the Carolinas, too, Florida is taking action against FEMA for civil rights violations against conservatives. Florida's attorney general has filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against FEMA's director and the Florida supervisor whose texts became public to avoid houses displaying Trump signs.
Don't expect this in North Carolina, however. Our outgoing and incoming state attorney generals are both extremely partisan and very liberal Democrats who would never challenge a Democrat political appointee that way.

When several frontline FEMA whistleblowers came forward with text messages from a FEMA supervisor instructing them to skip over houses with Trump signs in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, the supervisor involved was fired and FEMA leadership blamed it all on her. The Florida FEMA supervisor who was fired, Marn'i Washington of the FEMA Miami office tells a different story, however.
Ms. Washington said she was instructed by the central FEMA administration to give those instructions to her frontline workers and she is being scapegoated. She also said similar instructions to skip pro-Trump houses were also given on the Hurricane Helene response in North and South Carolina.
Florida Congressman Greg Steube who has been investigating the matter says this was not an isolated incident in Florida but happened all over the state, and also in the Carolinas.

It appears that quite a few federal agencies have run amok under Biden-Harris and will need to be de-politicized by the new administration. Those administrators who have been part of politically weaponizing these agencies will need to be replaced.

In 958 I was able to get 12 men to volunteer and I organized the first Rescue Squad that Beaufort County had. I was captain of that group for five years with no pay. We worked wrecks, drownings, heart attacks, fires, Hurricanes, and other emergency calls. There was never a thought about color, creed, political party or status. All were human beings. Our motto was, “What ye do unto the least one of these, ye do it unto me”. When we stoop to party over people, we have reached the bottom of the rot barrel. It looks like some have gotten there.
