The first thing I did this morning, was to put the windows down. I heard the wind rev up before day break. The wind nearly howled and a hail storm of acorns made an awful racket, on the old farmhouse.

I barely made the early service, this morning. A light rain was falling and it compelled me to linger a few extra moments.

All day the rabbit patch has looked like a scene from "Wuthering Heights". It has been gray and breezy- and the rain has been constant. Now, the wind has picked up and is wuthering through out the territory.

Rain has fallen the last few days at the rabbit patch-and everywhere around it. The sidewalks end a long ways from the rabbit patch and the yard is muddy.

Living on a rabbit patch is not for the faint of heart. My own, has barns that complain constantly about something. The house itself, joins in, clamoring for its' fair share of attention

Sometimes, there are bright and shining moments. Today , the rabbit patch has been full of them. One thing happened, and then another-and it was all good.
