On February 1, 2015, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office received a report of a Larceny from a business on Old New Bern Road, Chocowinity. Deputies learned 42 aluminum and steel semi-truck rims were taken. The Sheriff's Office began an investigation, conducted interviews and collected evidence.

On September 1, 2014, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office received a report of larceny by an employee at a convenience store business on Highway 264 East in Washington, NC. A Deputy responded to take a report and learned the employee had taken cash and cigarettes.
