My heart cried when I heard the news about Jimmy. He was such a help to me when my husband was on his death bed. Jimmy spent more than an hour praying over Jim as he lie in the bed dying! He helped me in more ways than I can express. After hearing his sermon last Sunday, I was thankful that I have the privilege to know such a great man of God. Most people, upon hearing the diagnosis, would curse God and question the reason. Jimmy, instead, praised God for all the blessing that God gave to him throughout his life. What an inspiration!

At least 3 deer killed at night w/in 8 days, at SAME spot on west 5th street, close to PC Sound.
Within the last hour, I think abt 60 speeding cars have run over the carcass smearing it all over 5th street. Soon there will be nothing left of it but mush & crushed bones. The cars are going 50 mph and so they cant see it in time to move over. I think City of Washington may need a deer crossing warning sign here on west 5th street. Or... the NC transportation Dept should slow the traffic down. 50 mph speed limit here in the city limts is too fast here, where all these houses have tiny driveways, that ppl need to almost stop to turn into, is too fast. We asked the NC dept of Transportation to slow the traffic, but they said the City of Washington didnt want it slowed. We asked the city police to call someone to move it, the dispatcher told me the highway is not their jurisdiction. At 50mph the deer are in danger from speeding vehicles, & the people are in danger too. 50 mph is too fast |

That just shows how assessed yall are over me to talk about me behind my back and how mature yall are to talk about my kids I'm 34 years old that was over 10 years ago I have matured and learnt a lot along the way i have never hit a woman let's she gave me no chance I rather walk away from drama and I rather hurt myself before I hurt anyone and I would never hurt a kid they are the future when I am gone from here and as fare as my kids there is nothing I wouldn't do for them how ever many I have they are apart of me so keep them and the mothers out of this drama and if i wrong some of you people in the past let it go karma has a way of coming back to a person god know I have had my share of it

I'm not sure that touch typing class is needed. My 12 year old can type 60 words + 12 emojis per minute without any training.
We bring in MBAs at work and no one could possibly read their writing...but no one does because they never have to submit hand-written work. The good thing is that they can read their own hand-written words when they take notes. Most of them don't use paper anyway, as they type on their laptops or tablets. Smartfella, what classes exist now that didn't exist at Jesuit High School back in the day? When a new class is needed, does the school have to drop a class to make room? I'm thinking yes, unless they extend the school day or get rid of summer vacation. Just a thought! |

Commented On Our Education System Is Making Students Dumber
This is exactly why young people should have children sooner. Before you call me crazy, consider that with 2-3 kids in the back seat, there is no energy or attention to use for texting. Besides, young parents have to keep one hand free to wipe noses and apply a bit of discipline (both are allowed under most states driving laws). Clearly we need a campaign to encourage teen pregnancy, "Kids are the Kure for Kareless Driving!!"

We are at a crossroad here in Beaufort County. You two have allowed the people to have their taxes doubled or even tripled in many cases. That stops this November and all the nonsense you guys post is absolutely irrelevant to the people here in Beaufort County. Are you seriously posting this garbage to protect yourself?
