Please remember them in your prayers and do what you can to help them

The "woke" Biden-Harris FEMA has for the first time in recent memory neglected to pre-stage for a major hurricane, and people are suffering from that. Woke concepts like "Equity" should be stipped from government. Were the people of these areas not served properly because they were white? That is whay "equity" is all about.

Trump is the only president to ever suggest he wouldn't give aid to states that don't support him. Dude is such a sicko.

No one forgot what he did to Puerto Rico.

The Biden-Harris FEMA did not pre-stage workers and supplies for this hurricane, which previous administrations had done for major hurricanes. It was 80 hours AFTER the disaster that FEMA first arrived in western North Carolina, a couple of days behind state of NC relief workers.

What has changed with FEMA? Look at their new mission statement under Biden Harris. Of their three new key objectives, number one is "equity", number two is "climate" and number three is a "strong FEMA". This radical administration has rearranged the FEMA we previously knew. Will proper aid be denied to western North Carolina because the area is largely white with no "oppressed minorities" to promote. Will rebuilding be stymied by the climate crazies? We cannot get President Trump back soon enough to end this far left nonsense.

WTIB radio is collecting supplies for the western counties. Glenn Beck's MercuryOne charity is, too.

Speaking of politicians, I hope more will do what President Trump is doing. He dropped his campaign schedule to visit hard hit Valdosta, Georgia with truckloads of emergency supplies. That is what real leadership and real compassion look like.

Those pictures and others I have seen are terrible. My mothers' family is from the NC mountains and I can imagine how those narrow valleys flood easily. If someone will provide a reliable organization providing storm assistance, I will be happy to send a check. There is a great video from a Charlotte meterologist toward the bottom of the linked article that explains what is happening so far in the recovery. It looks like the biggest problem is logistics in getting thing into the hard hit areas; redstate.com

Speaking of political figures, I see that Joe Biden is relaxing on the beach trying to explain why he is not in action monitoring the situation and helping and Kamala Harris interrupted her California fundraising junket briefly and staged a photo of her supposedly getting briefed by FEMA with a blank pad in front of her and her earbuds not even plugged into the phone that was on the table.

Agreed. This might be a good time to take a break from politics and maybe help out.
