Governing Beaufort County

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) provides heating, crisis and weatherization assistance. States are given block grant funding to design and operate their own programs under certain parameters determined by the federal government.
At the next Beaufort County Commissioners general meeting, August 3, 2026, I will present two resolutions of great merit for consideration by these very same commissioners that are elected to lead Beaufort County's government.

This effort in exposition begins the noble experiment of many years of understanding this land, deep within the Chocowinity Bay /Pamlico River watershed, its essence in totality, and, ultimately, the planning of that benefit to the collective will of humankind.
