Welcome The Keynote Dance Studio, an adult recreation and wellness dance studio, to Uptown Greenville. The studio is located at 509 Evans St and offers pole fitness and Latin dance classes.

Combat Crime

On 3/12/2020, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Dylan Holcomb, 26 years of age, of 104 Tupelo Lane, Pamlico Plantation in Washington.
On 2/27/2020, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Tylajuwon Shelton, 28 years of age, of 99 Joy Road in Washington and Shanita Peartree, 32 years of age, of 99 Joy Lane in Washington.
On 2/18/2020, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Damount Harvey, 27 years of age, of 992 Elm Street in Belhaven.
On 2/25/2020, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Lawrence Tetterton, 33 years of age, of 20685 Hwy. 33 east in Aurora and Precious Barnes, 28 years of age, of 299 Middle Road in Aurora.
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office has rolled out a new body and in-car camera system to Patrol Deputies and School Resource Officers.
Beaufort County Sheriff’s Investigators are currently on scene investigating an apparent murder suicide.
Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit have arrested five individuals in connection with the Methamphetamine Lab that was discovered at 415 Carrow Road in Chocowinity on 12/23/2019.
On 7/11/2019, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Jeffrey Nobles, 43 years of age, of 305 Hodges Road in Chocowinity.
On 12/13/2019, The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Jessie Ray Norris, 50 years of age, of 131 Gum Neck Road in Belhaven and Lori Ann Craft, 48 years of age of 279 Hideaway Road in Belhaven. They were charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On 12/23/2019, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Donnie Mayo, 44 years of age, of 415 Carrow Road in Chocowinity and Gina Elizabeth Whaley, 39 years of age, of 2252 Archie Mobley Road in Williamston.
On 12/13/2019, The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Travis Cobb, 35 years of age, of 200 Beulah Lane in Washington and Irvan Spencer, 32 years of age, of 338 Haven Drive in Greenville.

School News

Beaufort County Community College has moved some previously scheduled Continuing Education classes online.
Beaufort County Community College is pleased to provide grant-awarded assistance through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding for current curriculum students who were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Two students will head to N.C. State University this fall to complete a bachelor’s degree that they started at Beaufort County Community College.
Beaufort County Community College is offering healthcare classes starting in June through its Continuing Education Division.
Beaufort County Community College’s Small Business Center has online workshops coming up, some which deal with the COVID-19 shutdown and some that help build or start a strong small business.
Beaufort County Community College congratulates Savannah O’Brien on becoming a Morehead-Cain Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Northside High School student Macy Radcliffe is the first to graduate high school with a Criminal Justice Technology Diploma from Beaufort County Community College.
The Beaufort County Community College Foundation is proud to announce the following scholarship recipients for the spring 2020 semester.
This summer, Beaufort County Community College is offering its accelerated program for professional Spanish interpreters again.
