It is some of those woke corporate boards that are firing Americans to hire either illegal aliens or temporary foreign workers. Disney was one of the first to do that and they are as woke as you can get.
But you just don't get it. The "pull factor" is the welfare, not jobs. The Danes got it, and when the big migrant invasion of Europe started, they slashed the amount of welfare available to "asylum seekers" and publicized that fact widely in the "pass through" countries like Turkey. They also closed their border with Germany. Legal immigrants are not entitled to ANY public benefits, and they come by obeying our laws. Why should the lawbreaking illegal aliens get a dime? Why should they get assistance that is not provided to legal immigrants? That is immoral and insane. As to your rhetorical question about workers on projects at my house, most of them are white or black Americans who are from around here. The two Hispanics we have used are both US citizens, a fact we knew before we gave them work.

The elitists are out of touch with America if they want illegal aliens in the country. Pro-amnesty politicians, like Josh Stein and Kamala Harris, need to be defeated. Anyone who assists in illegal aliens entering the country needs to be punished.
One Republican who needs to be taken out in his primary for being a traitor on illegal immigration is that doofus Lankford in Oklahoma. His state party has already voted to withdraw its support of him after he signed on the a Democrat bill that would have legitimized a lot of the Biden-Harris illegal executive orders on immigration. Lankford needs to go. Pushing illegal immigration is a big focus of the globalists, and all globalists need to be defeated. And, of course, LIttle Bobbie tries to falsely play the race card as always. He is this site's Al Sharpton and just as full of crap as Sharpton.

The real problem is the left giving the illegal aliens welfare and other handouts, like the billion dollars misappropriated by FEMA from disaster relief funds to give to illegal aliens. Europe and America have the same problem, that the main pull factor is the welfare payments from the left. OPen borders by the left is the other problem.
People who hire illegal aliens should be punished for that, but so should the leftwing NOG's which are working to bring them here. Multiple polls, the latest from far left NPR show that a substantial majority of American want mass deportation of the illegal aliens. Trump will do that. Harris will not. Trump will also abolish all those Biden-Harris executive orders that have distorted the law to claim some of the illegals are "legal".

Maybe rich white people should stop hiring them. I know you want a campaign issue but if there were no jobs, immigration would slow.
But no. Rich white republicans and democrats want that cheap labor. Think about the last time you had major work done at your house. Did you question the citizenship status of the workers? Or did you just appreciate the work being done at an affordable price. BH, it’s a complex issue driven mostly by economics. Injecting hate for people of color won’t solve the problem.

American jobs are threatened by the Biden-Harris illegal immigration. Under Biden-Harris, most new jobs created have been for illegal aliens, while the number of US citizens working has actually declined. We need Trump back in as our deporter in chief.

Illegal aliens also bring a lot more welfare usage. I have not seen figures for the US, but they are not likely much different from Europe. In Germany, 62% of those are welfare are Third World migrants, and thanks to migrants on welfare, they had a 10 billion euro shortfall in their welfare budget this year.

If America needs more immigrants, we should take them from the waiting lists of those who apply legally and are turned down because there are not enough slots for them, not from those who arrogantly thumb their noses at our immigration laws and sneak across the border. Legal immigrants are vetted where we know they are not criminals and do have skills that will benefit our economy. We also know from extensive medical tests that they are not disease-ridden. Those that Biden and Harris are letting in include criminals, potential terrorists, and carriers of disease. Many will subsist on public handouts. Legal immigrants are not even eligible for public handouts for five years after arrival and they have to have a citizen provide an affidavit of support agreeing to support them if they cannot do so themselves.
An example of those who want to come legally but when they cannot, they do not slip in illegally is a former employee of mine when I ran an office in Europe. He was our full time accountant, with a college degree, and excellent spoken and written English. His wife was in law school, also with excellent English language skills. Applying legally to immigrate resulting in his being told that there were not enough slots so competition for those that existed was very fierce. At their suggestion, he tried the visa lottery for two years, hoping he would be drawn for one of the slots availible that way, but was not. Finally, he applied to immigrate to Canada, and they took a look at his accounting skills, which were needed in their economy and quickly accepted him provided he pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the medical exam, and other background checks. He passed those easily and took an accounting job on Prince Edward Island, Canada. He is now a Canadian citizen working for an oil company in Alberta. We miss out on the quality immigrants when we make it almost impossible for them to immigrate legally, but then look the other way for whatever turns up unvetted at the border.
