What a triumph for the American taxpayer. THe House passed a common sense CR this afternoon, not that bloated monstrosity with all that Democrat pork.

We currently have 18.5 million native born American men of working age, 18-64, not in the labor force, and all of the net new jobs in the last quarter going to migrants. Anyone who thinks that indicates a strong economy is just loony tunes.

Government debt when it gets too extreme will often lead to economic disaster, as it did in Germany in 1923 when it took a wheelbarrow full of paper money to buy a loaf of bread. It almost happened to the UK a century earlier and if the Rothschilds had not bailed out the Bank of England, it would have. In more recent times there have been examples like Zimbabwe and Venezuela, even though both are very rich in natural resources, but leftwingers mishandled their economies with way too much debt.

A counter example is the economic miracle we are seeing in Argentina with the election last year of a Libertarian president, Milei. Milei campaigned with a chainsaw, revving it up to illustrate what he was going to do to government bureaucracy. The first thing he did was to eliminate about half of all national government departments and he has continued to take his chainsaw to government bureaucracy and programs and indicated Argentina will be leaving the Paris Climate Accords. Now the economy is booming, inflation that had been rampant in the country is now nonexistant, the budget is balanced, and he has just given all Argentines a big tax cut.

President Milei of Argentina should be the model for Trump and for DOGE.

Don’t be fooled. These people cry about the debt because they want to slash rich people’s taxes and cut programs important to you.
Look at your retirement accounts and investments. They are strong as of today. 2 years, you will lose 20%

Strong economy under Biden? YOu must have been smoking something other than a tobacco product or just parroting propaganda from the far left talking points. In reality, our economy is facing devastating government debt than has mushroomed under Biden and will be difficult to get under control. The economy also is suffering some of the worst inflation in our history, 23% in four years, due to bad economic policies of Biden. Job reports have been a joke because they present something overblown, then months later revise it to much lower levels. Even then most of the new jobs under Biden have been part time or for illegal aliens. The percentage of working age citizens who are in the work force has declined under Biden. The Biden ecomony is stuck together with bubblegum and will need the expertise of Trump and his team to get it back on track.

$111 Billion in new spending???? What was that idiot Mike Johnson thinking when he agreed with the Democrats to this big spending bill? Did Johnson miss the mandate from the last election? Constituents were melting the phones to their congresscritters over this, and thankfully enough of them listened.

At the end of JB's term, we have a strong economy. No question.

Trump will kill it in 2 years.

Remember this post because I'm right.

Why in the world would Speaker Johnson engage in this sellout with Senate Democrats? All he would have to do is pass a clean 3 month continuing resolution through the House, and then let the lame duck Senate Democrat majority decide if they want to shut down the government over some pork barrel they want. My guess is they would not, but either way it would be a win for Republicans. Is Johnson just that stupid or is it there was some pork in there that HE wanted?
