No news source is complexly accurate or unbiased. But the mere mention of the blue sky and the NY Times.........and you can see their heads fly off. If MAGA is not 100% validated, they can't deal with it. No compromise. No critical thinking, no shades of gray. In a complex world, you really think that level of fascist tendency is gonna work out? I don't.

The Covid era was another time when the New York Times would only report what was "politically correct" under the government narrative. During that period, the oldest medical journal in the world, the BMJ (British Medical Journal) pusblished an editorial blasting media for refusing to report peer-reviewed scientific studies that disagreed with the government narratives, saying such media were going against both freedom of speech and academic freedom. Similarly when govenrment aligned media like the New York Times refused to acknowledge a peer reviewed study by Danish medical researchers that masks did not work against Covid, the Center for Evidence Based Medicine at Oxford University blasted the propaganda media for the same reasons.

That Yale University analysis of the New York Times bias in the conflict between Hamas terrorists and Israel, where the Times was biased in favor of Hamas fits right in with Bigot Bob being an apologist for Hamas in that same conflict. But this is not the New YOrk Times first rodeo with anti-semitism. For much of the Nazi rule in Germany, the New York Times was a denier of the Nazis doing anything wrong toward their Jewish population. Indeed I recall one New York Times article linked here a couple of years ago where the New York Times reported with a straight face in the mid 1930s that a new local German gun control law that prohibited Jews from owning guns was because Jews were threatening Nazis with guns. Only the most gullible, or the most propaganda oriented would have reportd that with a straight face!

Am I hearing that indisputable "facts" are being delivered to us from the far-Left echo chamber? Well, I've given BBob ample time to demonstrate a spirit of learning and growing while engaging in interesting dialog. It is not to be.
What he should have said previously is something like for example, Musk perhaps misread that screwed up SSA data and exaggerated the payments, but still there is almost $72 billion in improper payments from the agency, and DOGE is providing a long overdue service. But no. Instead, race is brought into conversations that have absolutely nothing to do with race and Musk is falsely portrayed as a South African racist with the insinuation that all white South Africans are racist. Additionally, when he accuses advocates of a color-blind society of being in some way responsible for slavery and Jim Crow, that is highly insulting. Going back into the catalog of outright false statements, for example the time when he said there were zero free blacks in the antebellum South when there were hundreds of thousands of them at that time. When it is pointed out that he is kinda way off on the crazy pronouncement he doubles down. There are volumes of those type examples. Not much constructive can come from dialog with that level of hostility and dishonesty other than just letting him demonstrate the lunacy coming out of the extreme Left in this present-day world in which we live. I suppose we should thank him for that.

Stan- Fact - some white men are racist. How can you possibly deny it? Is racism a wide spread cross cultural phenomena? Absolutely. Racism is an unfortunate part of the human condition. The dominant culture does not, and should not, get a pass. Fact - trump has fascist tendencies. How could you possibly deny it? His politics aren't really the issue for me. I object to the attack on our system of government and the abject cruelty of his administration. We should all fear trump. I will never respect him.

He probably thinks Margaret Brennan is objective and believable. Polling data shows that the majority of Americans have figured out that the MSM speaks with a forked tongue and is very, very politically biased.
The New York Times is as politically biased and full of propaganda as Pravda was in Stalin's day. For objective print media, one has to go across the pond to the UK, although staying in New York, you are much more likely to get true and honest news from the New York Post, one of America's oldest and largest newspapers. Here is just the latest example of New York Times bias. An academic study at Yale University of New York Times coverage of the Hamas-Israel war has found that the Times coverage was biased in favor of Hamas. papers.ssrn.com

Jann that was a thoughtful post. Ty. The problem is, my info is factual. I don't spend much time siting sources because nobody is interested unless the "facts" validate their view point.
The NY Times could say the "sky is blue" and there would be six posts attacking the Times. The word reputable means something. I gave up fighting that battle but am interested in any proposal you might provide to further communication in a less hostile way.

Stan we respect that you give ALL freedom of speech no matter if they agree or disagree. That's EVERYONE's right as an American! That's the main reason I like viewing this platform.
Bob you have your right to express whatever it is you would like to share. Agree or disagree, it's your right as an American. Several people on this site give out factual documentation with topics they wish to share. Also to get people to think, learn, research and have an open mind to other possibilities. It seems you like to express your thoughts & feelings on different topics but you never seems to share factual documentation. It would be quite helpful to get your point across if you could share factual documentation along with your expressed thoughts, if helping people to think is your true intention. I think some people who visit this site are very open minded and would be willing to look into your research. That said, Thank you Stan for helping Americans to stay in FREE SPEECH!!! Think about the ego on that. Stan should be commended for sticking to his 1st amendment principles, most MAGA are so intolerant they move to silence any discussion. I'm glad he understands censorship makes hum look weak. That said, I poke fun but there is a lot of truth in my posts, truth BO readers wont find on their typical choice of media providers. Unlike MAGA: I consistently demonstrate there are two sides to every story. I do not dehumanize people in an effort to promote myself or ideology. I understand most issues facing us are complex. I respect and support the rights of all, not just the dominant culture. My ego is not so fragile I would make the blasphemous statement that God is on my side. I encourage anyone to research the points I make. You may find you agree with some, disagree with others. Thats cool. My only interest is to make you think.
