Conservative Voter. "There Be Monsters Here."
I'm beginning to think of the mass of humans as one living body, that is infected with a disease ... and it is spreading. I only have one answer and that is that the local citizens had better wake up and start paying attention, IN DETAIL, to what is happening within their local Govts ... and then, SPEAK ABOUT IT. REVEAL what you are seeing. Ask questions in a public forum. Dont let them intimidate you into silence. Go ahead, use an alias here. Its not safe to use your own name.

CV, I see a pattern, but I'm not sure if th root of abuse is comin from th Sadler Cabal, Kidwell Cabal, Washington Dept head's Cabal, or the Dem Party w its useful idiots. It could b a "union of cabals." When a Dept head says "It means whatever we say it means," u know we hav a citizen abuse problem. When a Council membr says, "if u dont lik th way we do things, hire a lawyer," then u know we hav a citizen abuse problem. When police go & break down an old woman's door on th pretense of doing a welfare check, when all the while all they wanted to do was arrest her for a false "citizen generated" charge (not police generated) where the police lie & deceive th Fire Depts Rescue Squad to go along, then u know that there is a chronic citizen abuse problem locally. On top of all that, we think of th Fire&Rescue as
really good pple, yet NOT ONE of them came back to help that old woman secure her front door. All Council members & committee members either go along w th tyrants or get abused 2.

Washingtonian, do you see a pattern here? The Sadlaer / Tyre political machine attacks its political opponents by attacking their businesses. They did it to Brabo by using city government powers and then misusing the police to surveil her for political reasons. With Nick Fritz, they sent their goon squad to intimidate the customers and employees of his restaurant. We have a crooked gang with a political stranglehold on our city. It is as bad as if MS13 or Tren de Aragua came to town. Trying to destroy the businesses of political 0ppoents is VERY dirty and despicable politics. They can't attack Joe DDavis' business, so they attack him on Facebook and elsewhere online.

I found this posted:
"Update from City of Washington:" "In response to any questions from citizens that you may receive regarding the Ell Hotel, this is the official City statement that you can provide. If they have any further questions beyond this, they may contact me for more details. "A Federal Judge has told the City we cannot regulate any event activities at the Ell Hotel until the pending lawsuit has run its course." Thanks Glen Moore Planning Administrator"

Its all by design. Its been the Method of Operation by Cartels in Mexico for many decades... they kill the Mayors that dont play along, they kill the journalist that dont play along and they kill the cops that dont play along. Every citizen knows that if they complain, they can become a target. Its why we all use aliaes here.
Every 3rd world strategy that exists to control its people, is taking hold here in the USA. To be very frank, we cant fix NY, or CA or even the USA, but WeThePeople here in Washington might be able to stop the slide into a 3rd world corrupt town if we work together. That means keeping a meticulous watch over what our many town govt's in Beaufort County are doing. We have a sloppy, sloppy govt. Sloppy govts open the door to corruption, and/or HIDES it. Please citizens, use a critical eye and watch, make notes, speak about it. P.S. I'm betting that the "self-righteous" 25 yr old Perreault is already imagining himself Governor one day.

Anyone living in Beaufort County should hang their head in shame over the way Nick Fritz was forced to resign by his political adversaries sending their goon squad first to his restaurant to harass his customers and employees and then to his home to intimidate his children. What kind of a city is Washington and what kind of county do we live in?
I see from Washingtonian's comment that we are not alone, with a GOP local government candidate's home in Mecklenburg County being used as a shooting gallery, compelling him to resign his nomination. Is this America or a banana republic?

This kind of threat is happening right here n Washington with our own Nick Fritz. The political Mafia is a thing. WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE?!
### "The ONLY Republican running for Mecklenburg Co District 1 dropped out of the race...BECAUSE NOT A SINGLE PERSON WAS ARRESTED FOR FIRING SHOTS AT HIS HOME WHILE HIS WIFE AND KIDS WERE INSIDE! Police SPECIFICALLY CONFIRMED th attack was targeted at Aaron Marin. Bullet holes can b seen n trees, cars, mailbox,& his kid's basketball hoop. Marin's ENTIRE FAMILY was forced to leave their home. Aaron says they live in, "constant fear." He says his kids no longer even feel safe to play outside & they r moving now. Washington is so poorly maintained, a dead body can lay next to a busy roadway in a busy business district for so long that it turns into a skeleton. But any citizens that try to suggest changes for a better Govt are routinely ignored. Remember the City of Washington just wants your bank account and for u the taxpayers to just butt-out!

READ: www.northcarolinahealthnews.org
• "Trump's $50B rural health bet meets a HEALTHCARE DESERT in North Carolina (northcarolinahealthn ews.org) — Greenville's ECU Health Medical Center is straining under surging ER demand as nearby Martin County's hospital closure forces more rural patients into the city's only Level 1 trauma center east of Raleigh. Local leaders and ECU Health executives are lobbying for funding, but say Trump's new $50 billion rural health program won't reopen Martin General or quickly ease Greenville's long ER wait times." +++++ Why would any thinking human choose to relocate to a Regional HEALTHCARE DESERT such as we have here locally? Is the plan to eliminate most humans in coastal NC? Let us die off for lack of medical care, and tax to death the rest of the humans here.

Randy Walker is a full pledged RINO and full blown liberal, as is his wife on the school board. No question about that, but when it comes to the Senate race, Roy Cooper is just so awful that one has to hold their nose for Whatley. Yeah, Whatley was a bad NCGOP chairman. Yeah, Whatley is closer to Tillis than we would like, but Whatley at least has enough of a political debt to Trump that I cannot see him going against Trump during the next two years, and that is a very critical time period. Don Brown would have been a MUCH better nominee to beat Cooper, but he lost. I hope Don will be running for Attorney General in 2028, but we are stuck with either Whatley or Cooper for Senate in 2026, and Whatley is the lesser of the evils. I very much dislike a "lesser of the evils" choice, but Cooper is so bad, there is just no other viable option this time.

The Beaufort County meet and greet with Michael Whatley appeared to be a "Victory Committee" event. I wonder if Perreault and R. Walker are full-fledged members now or affiliates like Dority.

"Michael Whatley meets with local officials in Beaufort County. Washington City Councilman Max Perreault said Whatley’s campaign reached out to him to host the meet and greet. A campaign spokesperson for Roy Cooper, Whatley’s Democratic opponent, said in response to the visit: “Roy Cooper is running to deliver lower costs for working families in Beaufort County and across North Carolina.” Perreault and the Beaufort County sheriff also spoke at the breakfast meet and greet event." ========= OH REALLY? Its more likely that Whatley reached out to the Local GOP, who then reached out to their inside man Perreault. Who they may be cultivating as part of their secret committee, useful idiot, and shadow Govt. (There are pictures of participants at the link.)

Three ENC sites fail this week’s Swim Guide tests
May 29, 2026 By WITN Web Team Those sites were the Washington waterfront and Havens Gardens in Washington on the Tar-Pamlico River and Slocum Creek in Havelock on the Neuse River. Isnt it time for Washington Govt to dazel us with all their expertise?? Surely we pay them enough. Why would anyone want to live here? They tax us to death, while they watch the city slowly rot away. There are not the needed doctors, or even the laborers willing to live here and take jobs keeping our homes up. There is a shortage of everything, except for members of the bureaucratic machine. We thought we were getting a new City Council, but instead got one which was quickly indoctrinated by that bureaucratic machine. Every lawyer in town is part of that machine. A.I wont do anything to humans that these bureaucrats havent already done. "Manage the humans"...ignore them until they become nothing more than bank accounts for the City Machine.

Why is the city manager in a town of less than 10,000 people being paid more than a US Senator, a US Congressman, the Governor, the state Attorney General, and the other members of the Council of State??????? That is just obscene and a taxpayer ripoff.

Decision on Mayor Brab's special use permit for the Ell Hotel delayed as the Board of Adjustment lacks a quorum; meeting reset for May 7." www.thewashingtondailynews.com Why the lack of competence from this committee? AND, you will have to wait a month or more to see the transcript. Also for inquiring minds: new City manager's contract is for $185,000 through 2028. Info From WDNs.

If a citizen points out a problem, whose job is it to make sure tht issue doesnt just fall into a blackhole. Sloppy govts open the door to corrupt govts. In meeting minutes the transcripts constantly refer to STAFF said this or STAFF said that. Well who the hell is Mr Staff? Doesnt he have a name or title? I see it as an attempt to obfiscate so that no one can be held accountable. Maybe I should ask a councilmember, but I have a feeling they wouldnt know the answers. Why does it take a whole month to see meeting transcripts. Ya know this isnt the fifties. If there is not a monthly meeting, then it takes 2 months to see it. This is bad, lazy govt. But do they want to do better?

Ray did a good job explaining how local political parties work or dont work. He explained some of the flaws and searched for a root to those things. Now I wonder if he would care to attempt to explain to us how city govt in eastern NC work, or dont work. Where are the breakdowns? How can they be fixed. What is the job of the elected council? Do they represent us, or dictate to us, hide things from us so that govt is easier to manage? Whose job is it to fix it, other than the election process. Please explain some of these Depts as shown on city webpages. For example, look at www.washingtonnc.gov What is the job of all these people? Who is the boss of all thes people? What is the chain of command? Are they all needed? At the recent council meeting it was said that when the Planning Dept gets a Project going, they then hire a consultant to run it. Really? Who hires?

CV, Could Tyre make u be mean & vengeful to another, if u werent
already leaning that way? I know Davis exposed Perreault for screaming at B.R. so loudly it could b heard through th walls. That would anger me too, but Perreault had already showed himself 2b an emotional hothead that needed exposing. What had Bobby done to hm? Dont forget that Tyre had already been ragging on BR from day 1. WHY? What was th conflict? The 2nd most painful thing i do is watch the Council meetings. The MOST painful thing I do is rewind & watch again the ramblings of some as they are making us read their minds and read between the lines, to understand what the hell they are getting at. continued: 1 of 2.

At this recent meeting, Perreault also express anger that Davis had supported a TX Christian college that had offered free service to City employees. He was also angry that Davis had reached out to ECU, BCCC, w/out getting permission from th whole Council.WHY? Cant a membr talk independently w other entities? Perreault says he is afraid employees will feel pressured by Christianity? What? R they so weak they cant control selves? Brabo has lost control of th meetings. She was being led like she had a nose ring. She should be giving Davis equal time, reminding others to control their emotions and think twice b4 speaking. Brabo stopped Davis from speaking on Perreault screaming at the CM, but allowed Perreault to continue his assault on Davis: who was demanding that Davis's home not be given Historical status because he is a sitting council member.

Looks like JDavis may need some advice from Hood on how to deal with govt meetings where 3 of those voting will ALWAYS automatically disagree with anything that Davis is For. The beatings will continue.
I still havent seen a public meeting vote to hire the new manager.
