I didnt see that coming.
But then, I didnt see how he got hired in the first place. I never saw a public vote on it.
To be honest, I didnt like the smug superior way he talked to the Council members. They may have deserved some of it, but only because several of them were beginners and just learning their way. But later, it did become offensive.
I'm glad he's gone. He was one of those elitists who told the citizens...if u dont like it, take us to court.

The next move will be interesting. Maybe the Warsaw City Attorney, Kennedy Thompson who recently resigned would like the job. He sounds like a man with scruples.

PK, when I say letter, I mean e-mail letters and I write a lot of them with questions, request, and my concerns about local matters. It is common to be ignored, or just get a quick brush off, giving no answer.

You sound as though this surprises you. Who do you correspond with?

By the way, I found this info on the NCDOJ website:

Mostly what I want from govt is: to be heard, to be seen, and to SHOW me that they are doing this. Well, I am Sick and Tired of being invisible!!
It appears to me that once elected, our officials go to indoctrination camp where they are taught that they can feel free to ignore the citizens... even ignore their attempts to communicate. We have numerous local officials that ignore all communications. Its like a slap in the face. I take the time and energy to compose a letter, and they just ignore it like I am nothing. Just a bothersome fly. I think I am done forgiving. I will give my vote to someone new. Join me!

Public comment at local government meetings is a citizen right created by state statutory law. Who does this arrogant dude think he is that he can unilaterally overrule state law? He is trying to be a little Stalin, and weaklings on the city council are becoming his rubberstamps. We thought things were bad under Sadler, but they have gotten worse. Can we get Bobby Roberson back?

Our local govt selectively enforces its rules, depending on WHO you are.
I know this for a fact.
Also, a few years ago the City tore down one of Stan's Deatherage's structures. Yet years later others still stand. One can violate city codes all day long as long as you are one of the preferred citizens.
The City manager will tell you, if you dont like it SUE THEM!

Ya know WITN is asking for publics records, but the pattern in Lenoir Co. is as it is here, they ignore YOU.

Befuddle, that bureaucracy is already abusing what power it has. A couple of years ago, I know of an instance where they used "Minimum Housing Standards" to tear down a commercial building located on property that was zoned commercial. Not only that, but it was located in the Historic District and those city bureaucrats refused to even go through the requirements of historic zoning to do their dirty work. Private property is already not safe in the city of Washington. The building in question was sound and they used minor technicalities to deprive a local citizen of his property.

Doesnt "Downtown Takeover" sound dangerously militaristic? I think cities are whistling pass the graveyard, because I believe these lawless "takeover's" are indoctrination and training for a revolution. These teens probably dont know it, but I suspect that there are adults who are initiating these events being advertised on social media for Washington, Plymouth and Greenville,NC. Should a curfew be established here too? Dont hold your breath for the Mayor to do Anything!

CV, I'm a person with a lot of questions.
I believe I recall reading a piece from Fritz (after his resignation) that he supported Sadler and was speaking in his defense. Someone said that they were sure Fritz would vote to replace his seat with Sadler.
These things just dont add up.
I suspect that there is a cabal of cabals in these parts. LOL
Friends will protect friends even when they recognize that their friend is involved in shady things. This leads to our shadow govt.
But, go ahead, please tell me more. Inquiring minds want to know.
