So it is once again someone else's fault that you berated the dispatcher. Its the dispatcher's fault. Or it's the reporters' collective fault for reporting your bad behavior. Nerver, ever is it your fault. Everyone else is at fault ... but not you Mr. Richardson. Never ... such a victim.

As I observe the uselessness of the Beaufort County GOP in their plaintiff defense of their RINO element, all part of their proposed "Big Tent" circus, there are multiple ad hominem attacks levied against Conservatives, here in this publication, charging the great reveal of their incompetence was all begun by the 'ad hominem attacks' by Commissioner Hood Richardson.
By contrast of these subsequent non sequitur attacks by local GOP RINOs, The Hood's opening salvos were, and continue to be aimed at richly targeted zones, the blast of his attack of these bullets of truth landing in a tight, and most distinguishable pattern.

Dummy Rational Observer, The 300 pound woman was walking down the center of the street in more than 90 degree heat and profusely sweating. I saw danger, danger, danger. You were not there, so how stupid you are of me to question my judgement.
It is strange that getting information from local law enforcement is extremely difficult, but my call to help someone in distress became public. Politics, politics, politics.

Witnesses? Lol. How many more court cases must you get against yourself? And how many more people do you have to say are oppressing you before you finally take some responsibility. The story of the 300 lb black woman was all over the newspapers and tv.

When you demand that Van Zant, Washingtonian, RINO Hunter, John Steed, John Valley, Befuddled, and Country Girl unveil who they are and you call for them to identify yourself I'll do the same. Not that I haven't already basically told you before. But deal?

Truth Be Told: I attend the meetings to make a difference, but the difference is impossible when RINO corruption gets in the way of actually having a real meeting, where the work gets done, and right now the so-called Beaufort County GOP is doing NOTHING to aid real Republican candidates in the upcoming elections; for instance - getting out the vote in the recent primary, where the Republican Party here in Beaufort County did absolutely NOTHING.
I, and other keen observers, could easily argue that the planned complacence by the local GOP aided in hard-working Representative Kidwell losing his primary, and school board incumbents, like competent Steve Rader, being replaced due to an onslaught of Democrats switching to Unaffiliated to pick the Republican nominees to serve as our candidates in the general election. One has to reckon: How many of these Democrats-turned-Unaffiliated-taking-Republican ballots barrelled to the polls to vote for Keith Kidwell, or Steve Rader, or Travis Martin, or Stan Deatherage or Charles Hickman (with only Hickman and Deatherage surviving the primary)? NO, there is little difference being made in every stretch of the political /governing paradigm by Beaufort County GOP, in which their obvious plan appears ambivalence, or worse, toward all local candidates waxing conservative.

Rational Observer, Now find witnesses other than you and members of the Victory Committee who will sign sworn statements to any of the lies you are spreading. You are dealing in hate and are delusional. My name is not hid. Make your name public to back up your accusations???!!!!

You're basically the anti-Trump of Beaufort County. Whereas Trump has expanded the Republican base tremendously and is known for the art of the deal; you sir shrink the base of support in the county for conservative causes. And only know the art of the victim.

You want a list, Mr. Richardson? Here's what only I have observed. You called Mimi Speers a b*tch to her face at one of GOP County conventions in my presence. You threatened to slap Lori Norman at another. You referred to a group of Latino moms as Taco Moms. You called the police to report "a 300 lb black woman walking down the street in front of Frank's Pizza with a blank stare". You refuse to leave when the public portion of executive meetings is concluded. You tell people to shut up constantly when they question you. You raise your voice whenever you can. You make everyone that is visiting a meeting uncomfortable by pretending to constantly be a victim of some grand conspiracy against you. Your personality is simply toxic at any meeting.

So Much is broken locally, it is hard to know where to begin.
Before and just after the Council election, the candidates were anxious to shine sunlight on everything. Now they have hidden themselves in a black hole, where the sun doesnt shine. Everything is done in secret, and though Davis gives hints at to some of the secrets, it is still only hints. Did the public scare the new council members into the shadows, or did the Inside-City-Cabal do that? I'm looking for one of those "Give me Liberty or Give me Death" type of politicians. The County has one of those...he's called Hood.

Van Zant and Hood Richardson. Get off the soap box. Your goal is to cause discord and disagreement. Stan, you rarely come to any meeting. Now you decide to come because you are running for reelection. You don’t support the Republican Party, only your friend Hood Richardson. Hood, you only come to meetings to argue and throw insults. Neither one of you do anything to support the local or state party. The Republican Party has work to do. Why do you even attend? It’s all about you trying to control Beaufort County. Too bad! You’ve held Beaufort County back long enough. It’s time for new leadership on the board of commissioners. TIME FOR CHANGE!!!

The public can see for themselves the dishonesty going on in the leadership of the local GOP. They operate using half-truths and outright lies. The Plan of Organization calls for "advice and CONSENT" from the Executive Committee. Anyone that has served on any committee knows sub-committees report to overall committees. Neither of these things happen in the Beaufort County Republican Party.

Queen Garris, The Executive Committee approved the specific site and the money. Who is this wonderful committee. Was it he secret Victory Committee. Again I ask you to name the people you appointed to the Victory committee?
Your location is a bad location, not easily accessible to the public. To Rational Observer, your first sentence is a lie and so is almost all of your remaining statements. If you are unable to comprehend what is going on you are doing a disservice to make these comments.

To be clear and precise, a motion was made and approved unanimously to allocate $400 for a GOP Headquarters monthly plus utilities. The initial site was in disrepair and posed safety concerns. However, our great team discovered an alternative location in downtown Washington for less which includes utilities. What's not to celebrate? Isn't this the epitome of conservative values in action? For those who prefer, the stairs are always an option, and we'll ensure the entry is accessible to all. Instead of continuing to attack the hard work of valued volunteers/conservatives, try being positive and show some appreciation.

The 2025 BC GOP Plan of Organization enacted March 22, 2025 calls for a minimum of six Executive Committee meetings per year.
This BC GOP 2025 Plan of Organization is not to be confused with the State DRAFT plan of 2025, which was not approved at the 2025 state convention or the DRAFT 2026 state plan that will be presented at the June 13, 2026 state convention.

When I read Mr. Richardson's articles especially lately, I have to remind myself that he's been in office for over 30 years having never furthered conservatism. Why must I remind myself? Because he's acts as if he's totally clueless as to how committees or the party work, but it's actually just a game so that he can play the victim yet again. Mr. Richardson knows damn well that there are actually only two required meetings every year for an executive committee. He also knows that the committee dates and times are set.Solely by the chairman of the party, not for approval by the executive committee. But of course he would write like he does to make it appear as if a rule is being violated that does not exist. Because then mister richardson can play the woke little victim yet again. I haven't seen this much complaining about being a victim in a very long time. It's almost tedious at this point. Every single article is about how awful he feels treated. I think it's about time he grows up and actually addresses issues that are important to conservative voters like tax cuts, regulatory reform, high cost of living, bringing jobs to the county ... instead of this endless whining about how he's such a victim at the hand of everyone else. Notice in his articles how there's always someone that's oppressing him. Whether it's carolyn garris, before michelle nix or keith kidwell. He never, ever takes responsibility for his bad behavior and inability to act like a decent human being at meetings. Instead, he acts like a democrat. That is constantly complaining about being a victim. I don't know about everybody else, but i'm over it.
