Comments for Queen Garris Does it Again

Constant schedule/venue changes and double standards continue.

Just to add one thing about Executive Committee member Ceres: His expressed "concerns" about Victory Committee actions weren't done in actual Executive Committee meetings. In those meetings when Chairman Garris was not recognizing Richardson and other members of the committee she did not want to hear, Ceres was all for it. When Garris or one of her sycophants called the police, he was all for it. When she adjourned the meeting on more than one occasion rather than hear unwanted questions he was all for that too. I forgot to add that yesterday, but there are so many transgressions it's hard to keep up with them all.

Ceres, Give us some specific examples of what you have personally observed of my bad behavior?
Commented: Thursday, April 16th, 2026 @ 12:38 pm By: Hood Richardson
Vant Zant: 'If one cannot dazzle them with brilliance, they can always baffle them with B.S.'

In what I do (actually everything in my worklife), and what Hood does (actually everything in Hood's worklife), there are technical parameters that must be dealt with to get things done, while staying out of trouble.

In my governing work-life, since coming back on the board of county commissioners, is trying to get things done as a Real Republican, while in the minority serving against 5 Democrats from 2018 to 2022, and now against 4 Democrats since 2022 until now. Alternatively, the constant parameter that Beaufort County GOP RINOs and RINO Whisperers advocate is to provide great advantage and succour for the Democratic RINOs serving the Center-Left here in Beaufort County.

For the Democratic Socialists, they have stopped running candidates because the local GOP does that for them; a salient fact that the Beaufort County GOP refuses to recognize.

Van Zant: of course its a ridiculous comparison. No more than me of all people (the bane of the left in Washington) being labeled a liberal by Mr. Richardson.

Nobody is getting answers about the Victory Committee. Hood is just trying harder than the rest. Oh, and not leaving is not shouting. We get it. You don't like Hood. So what?
Commented: Thursday, April 16th, 2026 @ 10:08 am By: Van Zant
Get real. Hood Richardson aka Hillary Clinton. LOL. Issues please.
Commented: Thursday, April 16th, 2026 @ 10:01 am By: Van Zant
Van Zant: I am not a fan of the Victory Committee. It is not correct to say it hasn't been brought up. I've personally voiced my concerns about numerous actions of the committee and have had discussions with both members of the Victory Committee and others about my concerns. Some are actually likely to be addressed. The difference here is that I don't shout at people to shut up at Executive Committee meetings. Or accuse people of crimes in public. Or grandstand at meetings so everyone thinks I'm somehow special. I don't label everyone that disagrees with my small world view a liberal. These are the things Mr. Richardson does. It's why he's even ineffective at getting answers about the Victory Committee.
Commented: Thursday, April 16th, 2026 @ 9:56 am By: Gary Ceres
Mr. Richardson: You said that some of these commentors are attacking you personally and not addressing the issues. I agree with that.

You also said, "None of you are capable of discussing the issues I have raised." I do disagree with that. I think they are not WILLING to discuss the issues you have raised.

When I hear of Mr Richardson's rhetoric about how this needs to change or that needs to change ... I think back to one of the greatest moments in political history during the 2016 Presidential Election Debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Hillary (aka Mr. Richardson) complained about the tax code. Trump looked at her and said "You've been in Washington for over 20 years! Why didn't you change it?" Well Mr Richardson its been 30 years. Why haven't you enacted anything to advance conservatism? Are you going to blame the RINOs again? For 30 years! Leaders can navigate difficult terrain but your toxic personality prevents any progress on that front.

Stan: What's going on in Beaufort County is pretty elementary stuff for most people paying attention. Some of the participants in this conversation are trying to confuse the folks that just don't know.

There is so much wrong with the convoluted thinking of these Garris sycophants. If not voting for tax increases is "standard fare for any conservative," then why in blue blazes do they support the Republicans that increase taxes? It's completely illogical.

What we are hearing here from these advocates of the present local Republican Party leadership is the rhetoric spilling out from their exclusive echo chamber among themselves. Behold. The public needs to see this.

These self-proclaimed "True Republicans" or "Real Republicans" claim to be promoting conservatism while doing just the opposite.

Mr Richardson ... I have finally stopped laughing after reading your last comment. This is exactly what one expects from you and why you haven't passed anything. "I showed" my liberalism? LOL This is what you do. Anyone that disagrees with you or points out your behavior suddenly is transformed from a hardcord conservative to a liberal or Democratic Socialist. Do you never tire of attacking fellow conservatives? My positions are all conservative but in your small world anyone that disagrees with you becomes an instant liberal. It's comical.

Van Zant: You are correct again about the RINO and RINO Whisperer element that plagues Beaufort County governments.
Commented: Thursday, April 16th, 2026 @ 8:31 am By: Stan Deatherage
Gary Ceres, Your comments all go to socialism. You just showed your liberalism

TO THE OTHER LIBERAL COMMENTS ON THIS STRING: You are attacking personality. None of you are capable of discussing the issues I have raised. This is typical Democrat strategy, to attack the messenger, not the issue.

You are supporting a lot of corruption inside the Beaufort County Republican Party.
Commented: Thursday, April 16th, 2026 @ 6:42 am By: Hood Richardson
Gary, you seem to have forgotten the RINO element that is a governing desease built upon a fraud that plagues Beaufort County's tax payers, all perpetrated by a corrupt Beaufort County GOP.

Gary, if you were a Real Republican governing as a Conservative on this, and all previous Beaufort County Commissions plagued by the RINO element, you would understand what Commissioner Richardson and I have dealt with all these many years of these far too many many Center-Left /Left (those who swap votes to share power) frauds posing as something that they are NOT - Republicans.

If he's so effective, where is the Hood Richardson list of legislative acheivements? That's right ... it doesn't exist because he sucks at his job which should be advancing conservativism and not trying to simply acheive power. There is no great Richardson acheivement on regulatory reform. No Richardson ordinance protecting parental rights. There is no Richardson victory for rural healthcare or tax cuts or business incentitive program. In 30 years there's none of that. Of course he will respond with the victim mentality of "there's a center-left coalition that blocks everything." And in 30 years you couldn't be persuasive and in 30 years you couldn't advance causes? Reagan had an overwhelming Democrat House for 8 years and accomplished so much for conservativism. Trump deals with a divided Congress since he has jackasses like Thomas Massie to deal with yet is the most effective conservative in modern time. Mr. Richardson's most effective moves are multiple trips to the buffet bar when the food is free at events. At least Stan offers real resolutions and tries to work with other members to pass them. Mr. Richardson does nothing of the sort. Completely useless as a legislator. He didn't vote for tax increases ... so what? That's standard fair for any conservative. What has he successfully passed into law? It cannot be named because it doesn't exist. His toxic personality has held back advancement of conservatism for 30 years.

Notice how much these people will blab about anything OTHER than reporting on what the Victory Committee is responsible for doing, what the Victory Committee is responsible for spending, and how much the Victory Committee did, using the clout of the Executive Committee without reporting any of it to the Executive Committee. Crickets on all of that.

No one would go to such lengths these people have gone to NOT report on any of this if they were not hiding something. It would be comical if it were not so sad.

Consider this: We've seen the lengths these local GOP leaders will go to protect their RINO friends in local government. We've also seen the lengths they will go to slander conservative officeholders. They are doing that in this conversation here and now with Hood. Why do they not like Hood? He's a conservative and he is asking pertinent questions in executive committee meetings they do not want to answer. That's it. That's why they call the police, take ridiculous cases to court and otherwise make fools out of themselves.

We have three conservative Republicans on the Beaufort County Commission: Deatherage, Dunn, and Richardson. These folks arguing on this thread would have people believe the conservatives are blocking getting things done. That is not true. The two RINOS, Walker and Waters have aligned with the two Democrats and are THE reason our taxes are so high and going higher. The votes go 4 to 3. That's easy math.

Think about this. We are seeing the attacks on Hood on this thread. A few short years ago, this same party chairman brought ridiculous disloyalty charges against Tandy Dunn. Tandy took it to arbitration and was completely cleared. The process took a long time. It was nothing but harassment just like the list of conservatives that are being persecuted with crazy charges now. See the pattern?

Stan Deatherage is up for election this year. He has never voted for a tax increase ever. You can bet these local GOP "leaders" are coming after him, too. That's what they do. It's easy to predict because we have a long, long track record with these people.

Conservatives need to be extra careful and not let the people using convoluted arguments confuse them. People have records. Those that do not can be known by the people backing them. With all the facts, this is not confusing. Conservatives are not the enemy. They are our only hope.

"Real Conservative" is a misnomer for any RINO that usurps the good work done by Real Republicans, who worked to limit government, by lowering spending and eliminating corruption, waste fraud and abuse. "Real Conservative" you do the Republican Party a disservice by masquerading as what you are not: You are NOT "Real," as you are here hiding behind an alias, and you are NOT a "Conservative" as you only support RINOs in local elections. This is the MO of the local GOP, and that notariety is widespread, as was confirmed to me often during the 1st District Convention held last Saturday.

Taxpayers of Beaufort County: If your taxes went up far too much last year, it is because of petty frauds, like the fake "Real Conservative," who operate in a corrupt manner within the Beaufort County GOP to only support RINOs, and possibly RINO Whisperers in local elections; those fake Republicans that vote for every spending increase, and support every tax increase, and that is why the fraud, announcing herself as "Real Conservative," considers Commissioner Hood Richardson an "ineffective Republican," which he certainly is not; never was; never will be.

Rational is spot on in his/her analysis of this situation.

Hood exists only to rile up about 20 percent of the electorate. That’s the only way he stays anywhere near elected office other than limited voting.

Hood disrupts any and everything with regards to the BCGOP. He does so to stay in office. And we need to go back and look at how much he has pocketed by being a Commissioner all these years. And at no time or point in all those years has he truly advanced Conservatism here. Not once.

He grandstands to get elected but is the most ineffective Republican ever elected here. But I’m certain he cashes that check every month for the past three decades.

And Stan is just along for the ride. Because in his mind “The Hood” is always right. And Stan runs in years “The Hood” doesn’t just to get that small segment of votes in limited voting to cash their taxpayers check.

I think the people are waking up to their self serving BS.

Yes its the dispatcher's fault. It's Lori Norman's fault. Or Michelle Nix. Or Paul Varcoe. Or Mimi Speers. Or Carolyn Garris. Or Keith Kidwell. Or Randy and Carolyn Walker. Or Greg Dority. Or Scarlett Stokes. Or Gayle Breed. Or any other person on the massive amount of people you have on your enemies' list. Never once could it possibly simply be you. All hail the mighty Richardson who is the pillar of virtue and good behavior. Your failure to take ownership of your toxic behavior knows no bounds.

The dispatcher was playing dumb and refusing to take the information. So, who is smart, me for reporting a situation or the dispatcher for playing games. All they have to do is take the information. Why the games.

Rational Observer, look at what your are doing, making judgements about that which you knw nothing. Is that smart or what?
Commented: Wednesday, April 15th, 2026 @ 11:54 am By: Hood Richardson
So it is once again someone else's fault that you berated the dispatcher. Its the dispatcher's fault. Or it's the reporters' collective fault for reporting your bad behavior. Nerver, ever is it your fault. Everyone else is at fault ... but not you Mr. Richardson. Never ... such a victim.

As I observe the uselessness of the Beaufort County GOP in their plaintiff defense of their RINO element, all part of their proposed "Big Tent" circus, there are multiple ad hominem attacks levied against Conservatives, here in this publication, charging the great reveal of their incompetence was all begun by the 'ad hominem attacks' by Commissioner Hood Richardson.

By contrast of these subsequent non sequitur attacks by local GOP RINOs, The Hood's opening salvos were, and continue to be aimed at richly targeted zones, the blast of his attack of these bullets of truth landing in a tight, and most distinguishable pattern.

Dummy Rational Observer, The 300 pound woman was walking down the center of the street in more than 90 degree heat and profusely sweating. I saw danger, danger, danger. You were not there, so how stupid you are of me to question my judgement.

It is strange that getting information from local law enforcement is extremely difficult, but my call to help someone in distress became public. Politics, politics, politics.
