At Das Festhaus in theme country of Germany, there is room for 2000 hungry and thirsty folks. Stanhope and I ate our fill of corned beef, red cabbage, sausages, pork ribs and chicken. We also enjoyed the oompah music, and German beer drinking show: Above. Recently in Das Festhaus there was a beer tasting school in the side room that is now a coffee cafe. We most always enjoyed this component or our visit.
Before it relocated to giant beer hall in the theme country of Germany, there was a beer tasting school in Grogans Pub in the theme country of Ireland, where one could taste the products of Anheuser Busch products, and then enjoy a pint of their specialty beers: Below. images by Stan Deatherage
The Festhaus Park is directly behind Das Festhaus
and provides a stage, in a park setting, for many of the acts that come to Bucsh Gardens. In a few short hours, the B-52's will perform upon that stage: Above. The stage with the throng before the stage to see the B-52's: Below. images by Stan Deatherage

I did my first B-52's concert here. Yes, Fred Schneider, the male (and I use this word liberally here) lead singer did talk / yell his lyrics, and it was very campy, very gay, very 80's, very simple melodies. They were just as I remembered: Above. The two women in the band can actually sing, especially Kate Pierson in the red hair.
We waited to here "Love Shack," which I remembered that I liked, but every song they do almost sounds the same, so maybe I heard it: Below. images by Stan Deatherage
Just down the hill from Festhaus Park in the theme river in the park is the Rhine River Cruise: Above. The cruise boats dock near the confluence of two coasters: Alpengeist, and the Loch Ness Monster: Below. images by Stan Deatherage
