RALEIGH, NC     The North Carolina Republican Party is excited to announce the hiring of a new Communications Director, Kami Mueller. Mueller joins an already robust communications effort for the North Carolina Republican Party, which includes Emily Weeks of the NCGOP, and Kara Carter of the Republican National Committee.

"Miss Mueller is a seasoned communications professional. She is knowledgeable and articulate on the issues with a style that is both winsome and approachable," said NCGOP Chairman, Robin Hayes. "We are in a new era of the Republican party in North Carolina, and Miss Mueller is an excellent representative of that exciting new heartbeat."

Mueller played D1 collegiate golf and earned both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi in political science with an emphasis in political communications. Previously, she has worked with Lt. Governor Dan Forest, the Alliance Defending Freedom, Susan B. Anthony List, and the North Carolina Values Coalition as the spokeswoman for the KeepNCSafe campaign.

"I am thrilled for the opportunity to work with the NCGOP team. Over the past several years of Republican leadership, North Carolina has done a complete 180- proving to the entire nation that cutting taxes, eliminating waste, honoring teachers, and protecting the dignity and safety of children is a combination for success. I am incredibly proud to be on the team that will ensure that this new era of prosperity and advancement in North Carolina is here to stay," shared Kami Mueller in response to her new role.

Mueller is a member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Raleigh and enjoys playing fetch with her chocolate lab, Chipper Jones, in her spare time.

From this point forward, please contact Kami Mueller for media inquiries for the North Carolina Republican Party.
