Job's Warriors: I have made a covenant with my eyes to never look lustfully upon a young woman. | Eastern North Carolina Now

Who are Job's Warriors?

A ministry of men who support the body of Christ (the church)

They come from many denominations, seeking to serve Christ

They seek to step up as men of God, serving their risen Savior, their individual families, their communities, their nation, their world

They seek to lead their families as Christ led the Church; leading by example and not by dominance or abuse

They seek to minister to each other and to other men, knowing that we are created in God's image

They seek to stand firm in God's Word and to denounce images and treatment that lead to the degradation of the women of the world, knowing that they, also, are created in the image of God.

    Core Beliefs

Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and the only way to God (John 3:16; John 14:6)

The Holy Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (John 14:15 - 18)

That marriage is between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4 - 5)

That life begins at conception (Psalm 139:13)

    The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19 - 20)

Jesus' Return for the Body of Christ (Mark 13:26; Acts 1:11)

The Rapture of the Church (1 Thessalonians 4:16 - 18)

    That Forgiveness is a Must (Matthew 6:14 - 15)

    Mission Statement

To challenge and empower men to be men of God; to enable them to pick up their cross daily and follow the Lord Jesus Christ. To enable them to step up and claim their place in honor of and response to their Creator to make their communities, their nation, and their world a better place. To come together to worship God, to study His Word together, and to pray together. To put Jesus Christ first.

Job's Warriors is a 5 Step approach to purity and leadership

Step 1 (on your own or in a group)

If you are currently trapped in the world of pornography viewing, then you must complete the Bible study, (Whatever it ends up being named), and complete the Job's Warriors healing process as part of this study.

If you are not trapped, then you may move onto Step 2.

Find a male accountability partner. Someone whom you can trust and that you can confide in. Someone that you can call on, any time, day or night. It's not going to be an easy process. Satan will tempt you. Prayer for you is a must during this battle.

Confide in your pastor or an associate pastor. Let them know the battle you are in and that you seek their prayers.

If you are doing this alone, make contact through the Job's Warriors website, www.jobswarriors.com, and let us know your status. If this is a group effort, your leader will turn in the information to advise you have completed Step 1.

At some point during Step 1, if you are not currently a member of a church, seek out a church home. Look for a solid, Bible-believing church.

    Step 2

Vow not to look at pornographic images of women whether online, in magazines, in books, or movies. Try not to read sexually suggestive books or watch sexually suggestive movies.

Commit to Bible study and prayer at least 30 minutes daily, preferably at the beginning of the day. The important thing, however, is to do it.

Read the book, Every Man's Battle, and complete an online questionnaire upon completion.

If in a group, your group can certainly undertake this Step together.

Stay in touch with your accountability partner and your pastor.

    Step 3

Vow not to look at ANY woman lustfully. Teach yourself, through the power of Christ, to "bounce your eyes". Become aware when you are looking at another woman, and learn to move your eyes and thoughts elsewhere. Your thoughts of a sexual nature should only be toward your wife; your eyes should be only for her. If you are single, then you vow to remain celibate until you are married.

Continue your Bible study and prayer. Find other men who are participating in Job's Warriors in their area to study and pray with.

Read the book, Every Man's Marriage, and complete an online questionnaire upon completion.

    Step 4

Vow to assist those organizations fighting human trafficking or domestic abuse. Become involved in helping to honor all women and to teach others by example of honoring women. Vow not to take this on alone; connect with other Job's Warriors men in the area and never go this alone. This avoids you setting yourself up for false accusations, or for putting yourself in a situation where temptation may attack. In reality, we at Job's Warriors prefer you commit to fighting human trafficking, however, the important part is to become involved in your church in some capacity, even if it's helping set up for other specialized ministry programs. Remember, the enemy will always be after you. Bible study and prayer is essential both alone, and with other men, hopefully those who are Job's Warriors.

Read the Book, Not A Fan, and complete an online questionnaire upon completion.

If in a group, your group can certainly undertake this Step together.

Stay in touch with your accountability partner and your pastor.

Upon completion of Step 3, receive a personalized Every Man's Bible at cost + s/h.

Receive a certificate to display your commitment to promote the respect and honor of all women, with your wife being the main commitment.

Continue your Bible study and prayer, both individually and with other Job's Warriors. Attempt to attend an annual time of fellowship with other Job's Warriors.

    Step 4 (if desired)

Begin a Job's Warriors Bible study to lead men to disciple men in becoming Job's Warriors.

Receive a plaque and a photo ID denoting you as a leader of Job's Warriors.

To sign a commitment sheet as a leader, and that you will adhere to all the principles set forth by Job's Warriors Men's Ministry, agreeing that this privilege can be revoked if you fall into immoral practices.
