Overwhelming Verified Support for Voter ID | Eastern North Carolina Now

Press Release:

    A new Gallup poll released on August 22 showed that 4 out of 5 Americans support voter ID laws.


    The Gallup poll also found that more than a third of the people surveyed think voter fraud is a "major problem."


    Along with Gallup, the Civitas Institute issued a recent poll where they found that the majority of unaffiliated voters are in favor of voter ID laws. Seventy-four percent of polled unaffiliated voters are favorable of voter ID, and 93% of these voters said they are "very likely to vote."
