Herman Cain Suspends his Presidential Campaign | Eastern North Carolina Now

"As of today, I am suspending my presidential campaign ... however, I am not going to be silenced, and I am not going away!"

From the portico of Herman Cain's Atlanta, Georgia presidential headquarters, which were scheduled to open today, the presidential candidate, with his traditionally reticent wife, Gloria, standing a few paces behind him, has elected to fade into the shadows, out of the withering limelight of a presidential campaign, and relinquish his hold on his loyal supporters.

In the recent several weeks leading up to today's resignation from the arduous campaign trail, Herman Cain suffered a number of accusations from a number of unrelated women that he has been engaged in behavior that is not reflective of a Republican Candidate seeking election to the highest elected office in the land.

As of present, former presidential candidate, Herman Cain, has vehemently denied that he is guilty of said allegations.
Herman Cain speaks to his loyal supporters, many of whom will be most interested in the man Mr. Cain is sworn to endorse for president, and as of yet unnamed.

During his 15 minute speech, Mr. Cain couched his campaign withdrawal as a part A / part B process, with the campaign A portion dedicated to his campaign, and its suspension, and then part B, which will be dedicated toward his advocacy for conservative solutions to America's burgeoning problems. He will initiate soon a website, cainsolutions.com, which will speak to this advocacy. At the time of this post no website with this domain had been launched.

The event from which he spoke was one of a festive atmosphere. Barbecue was served and the Country / Rock band Rascal Flatts played. Optimism was in the air; however, a pall did hang over the event, which was previously scheduled as the grand opening of Herman Cain's Campaign Headquarters in Atlanta, Ga.

Remarkably, the mercurial campaign, which was the embodiment of who Herman Cain is as a man, rose from that of the "also ran" candidate to that of a candidate, who became the "leader of the pack" ... and now it is over.
