Former ACLU president resists censorship, promotes free speech to fight hate



    Some people want to censor or ban so-called “hate speech.” New York Law School Professor Nadine Strossen disagrees.

    The former national president of the American Civil Liberties Union offers a different approach in the book Hate: Why We Should Resist It With Free Speech, Not Censorship. Strossen shared key themes from the book during a presentation Monday for the John Locke Foundation and the Federalist Society at Campbell Law School.
