During a live Fox News segment on Sunday, Democratic supporters of the U.S. Women's Soccer team chanted "f*** Trump" and bashed "racist" President Donald Trump following the women's World Cup victory in France.

"F*** Trump," cheering Americans holed up in a France bar chanted at the beginning of a live newscast.

"Now we need to win in 2020! Democrats!" screamed a man wearing an American flag-style hat, later yelling, "Get that racist out of the White House!"

"Democrats! U.S.A. Democrats!" another cheering woman shouted.

"They are very happy," said Fox News reporter Greg Palkot. "It's a bit of a political thing, too, as you can see."

The women's national team has become overtly political, particularly with respect to forward Megan Rapinoe. The star athlete protested the national anthem during the World Cup - refusing to put her hand over heart during "The Star-Spangled Banner" - as an apparent "F you" to President Trump and his administration. Rapinoe, who fashions herself a "walking protest" because of her status as a gay woman, also made waves when she told the media that there is no way she'd be going to the "f***ing White House" if invited by the president.

The team has protested an alleged gender wage gap in the sport, though the men actually get paid a lower percentage of their generated revenue than the women's players. Following the U.S. win, the stadium crowd started an "equal pay" chant.

As highlighted by The Blaze, Irish outlet JOE.co.uk caught up with the left-wing Americans ripping the leader of the free world post-World Cup.

The fan who started the "F*** Trump" chant told JOE, "Right now I'm very embarrassed to be American."

"I mean, I think our team really represents what America is about," he said. "So we have diversity racially, we have an LGBTQ population represented, and that's what Americans get behind."

"So, I think Trump is really the old guard and it's kind of the last grasp for them to keep power. But power should be divided amongst everyone," the man continued.

He also described Rapinoe's national anthem protest as brave, saying it was "definitely a risk taking a political stance" that could "alienate some fans."

"Hopefully in 2020 there'll be a different story, because right now, I'm very embarrassed to be American," he added. "It's time for people in our country to stop believing all these lies. It's really depressing that there are those that are so uneducated that they'll believe everything he says."

Trump, who has said Rapinoe's anthem protest was inappropriate, congratulated the women's team following their win.

"Congratulations to the U.S. Women's Soccer Team on winning the World Cup!" Trump wrote. "Great and exciting play. America is proud of you all!"

First Lady Melanie Trump did, as well.

"Congratulations to 2019 Women's World Cup Champions," she tweeted.
