Dig in at Uptown Greenville’s National Night out Street Food Festival | Eastern North Carolina Now

    GREENVILLE, NC     Who's Hungry?? Think street food, live music, dancing, bucket trucks, and family fun. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and public camaraderie to make our city a safer, better place to live. The 36th annual National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, August 6th. The Greenville Police Department, Greenville Fire Rescue, and Uptown Greenville are joining forces to celebrate the day with a Street Food Festival.

    The Street Food Festival will kick off at 5pm at the Five Points Plaza, on the corner of 5th and Evans in Uptown Greenville. As this will be Uptown Greenville's seventh annual Street Food Festival, attendance is expected to be the biggest it has ever been. A variety of cultural food will be offered at the event including Korean food, dumplings, Cajun, Greek, pizza, sweets, kabobs, and so much more. Festivalgoers should also be prepared to shake their tail feather with beats from local DJ, DJ Regal.


    Attendees will be able to feast on great offerings from all over NC from the following food vendors: Fully Loaded Fritters, Dusty Donuts, Anita's Authentic Mexican Street Food, Jasmine Tasty Thai Food Truck, Virgil's Jamaica, Williams Catering, The Rock, What's the Dilla?, Baguettaboutit, The Bamboo Cookhouse, Gorhams Café, Charlie's Kabob Grill on Wheels, Chirba Chirba Dumpling, Sparky's Snowballs and Funnel Cakes, Kona Ice, Gonza on Wheels, Wingskis, Tula's Fish & Chips, Baton Rouge Cuisine, Bulkogi, Y'ALL EAT YET?, Jamerican Hot Dogs, Mari's Hella Fat Food, The Smashed Shack, Gussys Greek Street Food, Cocoa Forte-Sweet Delights, and Tropical Delights LLC.

    Plan on eating dinner at the National Night Out Street Food Festival on Tuesday, August 6th and stand in solidarity with your community in the fight against crime.
