Just when you thought it couldn't get any more stupid ... | Eastern North Carolina Now

I haven't talked much about it lately, but the Democrats still think that I am a Democrat, and in such a timely manner, I just received this correspondence from Progress NC Action, a liberal Democrat squawk group, loudly professing one inane idea after another.

Their latest insipid call to whomever will answer is a protest rally at Mitt Romney's Bus Tour through North Carolina, where they can heckle and cat-call the candidate as he tries to communicate his message, and quickly move on to another locale. Now, the overarching irony here is that Liberals generally are not very well acquainted with the United States Constitution, or its accompanying amendments in the Bill of Rights; however, they do revere the 1st Amendment (guaranteeing free speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of the press), in as much as it protects their right to control America's media, assemble in chanting groups, who express really "smart" refrains such as "BUSH LIED, KIDS DIED!"

What lends such a profound irony to Liberal's sense of free speech is their professed predilection to shout loud enough to shut down their opponent, in this case Mitt Romney. Is it any wonder that they (the Liberals) aren't any smarter at this point? Honestly, I can't imagine why anyone, who would have the capacity to possibly fathom that it will take smart people to correct the path of this nation as Candidate Obama drives us headlong into a socialistic tomorrow, would listen to them now in this critical election.

Maybe the aura of stupid is the cool concept for those who call themselves the 99%. Regardless, I do wish they would take me off their mailing list. Until then, I will continue to provide these snippets from the completely unwary far-left. Here below is their "Dear Stan" letter:

Dear Stan,

Outsourcing jobs to China... offshoring his money to Swiss bank accounts and tax havens in the Grand Caymans... laying people off to extract maximum value from once-healthy companies: *Mitt Romney is a triple threat to your economic well-being.* And he's coming to North Carolina this weekend for his first in-person campaign appearance in our state. Let's show him where North Carolina stands when it comes to leaders who send jobs and money out of America.

Groups like these collective dimwits, Progress NC Action, MoveOn, Planned Parenthood, the AFL-CIO, always remind me of the grownup versions of the group of Hippies, in "Forrest Gump," around the reflecting pool in Washington, DC, on the Mall between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. In the picture (above), we see Forrest (left) with the radical Hippies led by the Jerry Rubin / Abbie Hoffman hybrid leadership guy. Question: Who is the stupidest person in this picture? Hint: It's not the soldier, with the Congressional Medal of Honor draped around his neck.

Join Progress NC Action, MoveOn, Planned Parenthood, the AFL-CIO and other groups as we greet Mitt's campaign bus in three NC locations this coming Sunday with a sea of protestors waving Swiss and Chinese flags. We'll be holding signs that make it plain that Outsource Mitt and OffShore Mitt are not for North Carolina. We have the permits and signs; all you have to do is show up!

JUST CLICK ON A RED HEADLINE BELOW TO RSVP FOR THE EVENT CLOSEST TO YOU. Please take the time to RSVP so we can get an idea of the crowd. We'd also appreciate it if you shared this invite with your friends.

It was never my intention to be this popular, especially with a Socialist.

I guess this is what I get for being such a kind and considerate person, and always reaching out warmly to all people, most especially Liberals and Socialists alike.

I like the last one best for Michael!! "Enough About What I'm Really Concerned About ... Readers Tell Me What Concerns You ... But First: What Do You Feel About Stan?"

Michael,

Since you are so prolifically expressive about your views, why don't you consider writing a column for BCN.

In the past, I have picked bylines for contributors, who would rather that the publisher pick their byline. I generally read what their expressed motives are, and accordingly, I choose a byline that best suits their political / philosophical bent to best categorize their opinions.

If you do decide to contribute posts, and you don't want to pick your byline, I have a few, and very humble, ideas. How about:

"All About Stan," or ...

"Just Exactly, What I Really Feel About Stan," or ...

To have a more dynamic, and interactive exchange with your readers: How about?

"Enough About What I'm Really Concerned About ... Readers Tell Me What Concerns You ... But First: What Do You Feel About Stan?"

Sure, Stan. Liberals. Always shouting down their opponents. Exactly. Like that liberal Ann Coulter, right? And Limbaugh. And O'Reilly. What's it like seeing life through a mirror, Stan?
