News Release:

    Good afternoon,

In case you missed it...a new Washington Post-ABC News poll released yesterday found that just 41% of Americans approve of Joe Biden's performance, down 11 points from earlier this spring.

Respondents slammed Biden's economic approach, with only 39% approving of his overall handling of the economy. Even more damning, half of those surveyed blamed Biden directly for the skyrocketing inflation across the country.

This poll reflects what Americans know to be true: Biden's economic policies have been nothing short of disastrous.

  • For seven months in a row, the producer prices index has increased at the highest pace on record, last month matching the record high set the month before of 8.6% . Core producer prices - stripping out food and energy - rose by 6.8%, tying last month's new record high.
  • According to new data from the Labor Department, consumer prices rose 6.2% in October compared to last year. That's the largest spike in over 30 years . Core consumer prices, stripping out food and energy, rose 4.6%, the largest 12-month increase since August 1991.
  • Depite Biden's false claims that "wages are up" and growing "faster than inflation," inflation has completely wiped out nominal wage gains, with real wages going down. According to the Labor Department , real average hourly earnings decreased 1.2% from last October, and real average weekly earnings decreased 1.6%.

This is bad news for Jeff Jackson, Cheri Beasley and G.K. Butterfield, three vulnerable North Carolina Democrats who have aligned themselves with Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and the far left.

"Jeff Jackson, Cheri Beasley and G.K. Butterfield are rubber-stamps for Joe Biden's disastrous economic agenda that has created higher prices and lower wages for North Carolinians. Next November, the people of this state will reject the out-of-touch policies of radical Democrats in favor of commonsense conservative candidates who know what it takes to lead an economic recovery."-RNC Spokeswoman Alex Nolley
