Press Release:

    Good morning,

In case you missed it, the Republican National Committee (RNC) continued its grassroots effort to mobilize volunteers across North Carolina by conducting another National Week of Training from January 28 to February 3.

The week-long operation in North Carolina included over 60 events and engaged more than 1,000 volunteers through Republican Leadership Initiative (RLI) trainings, door launches or phone banking events in every region of the state. These events focused on North Carolina's midterm elections and were part of a nationwide effort by the RNC, which boasted more than 850 trainings and over 17,000 volunteers engaged in trainings, voter contact and voter registration efforts.

Participants learned how to mobilize their communities to help elect Republicans up and down the ballot in November, and discussed the RNC's ongoing efforts to ensure elections are safe and secure. Trainings were hosted by the RNC field team in North Carolina and were kicked off by multiple North Carolina lawmakers including Reps. David Rouzer (NC-07), Dan Bishop (NC-09) and Dr. Greg Murphy (NC-03).

"Our hugely successful National Week of Training shows the energy and enthusiasm of North Carolina Republicans. With our grassroots efforts and our data-driven ground game, we will be showing Democrats the door in November." - RNC Spokeswoman Alex Nolley
