The Biden Admin Is Failing The NC Worker | Eastern NC Now

The Biden administration’s hypocrisy just won’t stop.

Press Release:

    Good morning,

The Biden administration's hypocrisy just won't stop. Today, Vice President Kamala Harris and Labor Secretary Marty Walsh will arrive in Durham to discuss North Carolina workers. If they truly cared about workers and small businesses, they'd stop pushing their failing agenda of more spending and more taxes.

"Harris and Walsh can pretend to care about the North Carolina worker, but their economic policies paint an entirely different story. Under the Biden administration, real wages are down and consumer prices are rising ; their plan to hike taxes on small businesses will make it exponentially worse." - RNC Spokeswoman Alex Nolley

Here's a look at all the ways that Biden, Harris and Walsh are failing the North Carolina worker:

  • In Biden's failed economy, Americans are slammed with consumer prices rising at their fastest rate in 40 years, with inflation costing the average family $3,500 in 2021.
  • Biden made the campaign promise to work for "low-income Americans," yet 66 percent of households making under $40,000 have reported hardship due to inflation.
  • Real wages are now down as inflation has eaten up wage gains.
  • Millions of Americans are still jobless and Biden has put thousands out of work because of his far-left agenda.
  • Biden pushed a vaccine mandate that threatened nearly 45 million jobs and businesses with at least $1.29 billion in compliance costs, further exacerbating the supply chain crisis and driving up costs.
  • Biden failed to "help small businesses around the country" and wants to hike taxes on small business owners while they are being crushed by Bidenflation .
  • While Americans struggle with financial hardship due to inflation, Biden wants to break his campaign promise that no one making "under $400,000" would see their taxes raised - his radical "Build Back Broke" plan would do just that.
  • Americans have struggled to keep food on the table as empty shelves and high prices effect nearly every product in grocery stores as the supply chain crisis worsens thanks to Biden's lack of solutions.
  • Biden has failed to deliver on his promise to provide relief from supply chain bottlenecks - rather than solve the problem, an increasing number of cargo ships are now simply waiting farther out at sea to get to port.
  • On top of supply shortages and a minimized workforce, Biden is now requiring foreign truckers to be vaccinated - which will likely further cripple already snarled supply chains across the country.
  • Biden has failed to "expand opportunities for our farmers," pushing tax hikes in his "Build Back Broke" agenda that would hurt farmers' ability to sell their goods and hurt rural America even more.
