Mrs. Wallace was born in Cabarrus County, NC on October 18, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Adam Roger Hudson and Virginia Ruth Miller Hudson of Concord, NC. She worked at National Spinning Co. for 24 years before retiring. Mrs. Wallace was a member of Love Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas.

On June 1, 1950, she married Cecil Jefferson Wallace, who preceded her in death on April 15, 2004.

Mrs. Wallace is survived by three daughters, Kathy W. Hardy (Billy), Carolyn Ann W. Sheppard, and Sandra W. Stuart (Daryl). One brother, Adam Ronald Hudson (Linda) of Houston, TX and her cousin "sister", Doris Blackley of Concord, NC. Three grandchildren, Jeremy Wallace (Shana), Steven Sheppard (Jennifer), and Michael Sheppard, all of Washington.     She was very proud of her grandsons and the path they chose volunteering for Clark's Neck Fire Dept. when they were teenagers. She was always thankful and credited the firemen as mentors in their youth. Our mother loved her family and dedicated her life to us. She loved her many nieces and nephews, her friends. She never met a stranger.
