The erosion of our Church foundation | Eastern North Carolina Now

By Jeff Larson, The Back Pew

“Those who attack the Church most seriously, and disbelieve in it most thoroughly, are not proposing simply to level the Church to the ground in the sense of destroying any religious society. What they want to do is to put some other kind of society in the place of the Church.”

-Peter Forsyth, The Work of Christ (1909)

Bobbie seems to have his/her own definition of "truth" much like how the far left is trying to redefine a lot of words these days. He/she would not know the truth if it jumped up and bit him/her.

Bobbie does not understand the goals of the woke modern education industry. Now they seek to produce ideologically tuned robots who will parrot the narrative of the left. Critical thinking or seeing both sides of issues are no longer tolerated. The church's side of issues is one they want to drown out, along with others they dissapprove of. I am sure Bobbie must be a member of one of those "social gospel" churches that are more political than religious.

Because the goal is to produce educated people with critical thinking skills. No one should blindly follow any church. I go to church, but would never attend a church that would publish a graphic like the one posted above. Never.

One of the choices for the Beaufort County Schools Social Studies Curriculum offered by the NC Department of Instruction had a section on "How to Dispute the Church". Why was that program ever a choice from our DPI in Raleigh? When will our local parents get involved to clean up the failed system that we now have in our public schools?
