Hamas Confirms It Received Support From Iran For Terror Attacks On Israel

    Hamas, a Palestinian Islamic terrorist organization, has confirmed that it received support for its recent surprise attacks on Israel from the Islamic Republic of Iran, the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism.

    A spokesperson for the terror group told the BBC that it received support from Iran and others, although he declined to say who else provided support.

    In Iran, people flocked to the streets to celebrate the deadly attacks - which killed hundreds of Israelis and wounded thousands more - shooting off fireworks, waving flags, and cheering, according to numerous images posted online.

    Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanani said, "What took place today is in line with the continuation of victories for the anti-Zionist resistance in different fields, including Syria, Lebanon and occupied lands."

    Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei posted on social media: "God willing, the cancer of the usurper Zionist regime will be eradicated at the hands of the Palestinian people and the Resistance forces throughout the region."

    Yahya Rahim Safavi, the top military adviser to Khamenei, added, "We congratulate the Palestinian fighters. We will stand by the Palestinian fighters until the liberation of Palestine and Jerusalem."

    Iran has given billions of dollars to Hamas and other Palestinian terror groups over the last few decades to support attacks against Israel, providing weapons, funding, and training.

    The Biden administration "has strengthened and emboldened the regime in Iran," said the foreign policy experts at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD), a nonprofit focusing on national security and foreign policy.

    The administration has loosened sanctions on Iran as it seeks a nuclear deal, which it has failed to deliver, and the result has been Iran's ability to sell millions of barrels of oil per day.

    Biden greenlit a $10 billion transfer from Iraq to Iran in July, and in August, he approved the unfreezing of $6 billion in Iranian oil revenues.

    Defenders of the Biden administration claim that the money did not go to terrorism, but Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said Iran would spend it however it wanted to.

As you may know, I have been doing this a long time, and yes, I will claim authority status, at least here for Beaufort County, and the 90% estimate of corrupt politicians is way out of whack.

Now, if one was to claim that 90% of all Democrat Socialist politicians are corrupt, I will not argue against that; however, for Republicans, that figure is much lower.

Yes, Beaufort County has many RINOs in political office, and much of that is because most are Democrats who switch parties, so that they may then ride the good works of real Republicans to get into office, and the first thing they do once elected is govern as moderate Democrats, working closely, and naturally with the Democratic Socialists, to the exclusion of the Real Republicans.

Beaufort County is notorious for this bad behavior, and well known for such from across the state of North Carolina. The tip top reason it continues here in Beaufort County is because the local GOP not only tolerates that RINO class of politician, they additionally celebrate this infamous and politically abhorrent behavior.

But Washingtonian, there is good news afoot in other counties, and I will further report it later as I find the time, but for NOW ... As I travel, infrequently, across the state as a Beaufort County Commissioner, I find that Real Republicans are getting elected to their county commissions, and in their respective counties, their local party apparatus does not abide RINOs.

In my opinion, and in the opinion of the Real Republicans from across the state, RINOS may be even more likely to be compromised than Democratic Socialists toward corruption, and these many counties with strong GOP local parties will not tolerate this class of politician.

Alternately, and in real terms, I am buoyed by what I see across the state of North Carolina, and remember this Deatherage estimation: There are few Real Republicans who could ever be enticed unto corrupt practices in governing ... then again, I am ever the optimist ... it pays to be until fully shown the dark side of corrupt behavior.
