The well regarded polling firm IPSOS recently ran a poll in thirty key countries around the world in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas simultaneously asking citizens what was the top challenge for education in each country.  In many countries, top issues were things like outdated curriculum, inadequate educational infrastructure, lack of public funding, and overcrowded classrooms, but in the US, the top issue facing eduction was political / ideological bias in the classroom.

In the United States, over 1,000 Americans were polled and the top challenge to education according to citizens is political bias in the classroom.  In the poll, 33% of respondants listed that as the top challenge.  Second was safety and security which was mentioned by 31%.  The US was the only country survered where political bias was viewed by the public as the top challenge to education.

The woke political perspective is actually socialism. Even the creator of the "1619 Project" has admitted it is not real history. Critical Race Theory was designed by people who were openly and admittedly Marxist, and that is what the education establishment wants to push in our schools.

Including the non-white historical perspective is not indoctrination, but I understand why you are so uncomfortable. Go ahead, respond with an 800 word post. Make my day.

Political and ideological bias in curriculum is indeed a huge problem and it is causing political indoctrination in our schools. A woke curriculum is the result of woke textbook companies, lazy or out of touch school board members, school superintendants who want to stay in good standing with the education establishment, teachers unions, and other sources. We now have five local school board members who have campaigned on ending the woke curriculum. If those school board members stay true to their promises to voters, our school board should start pushing the woke out of our schools.
