WHAT? CBS flack Margaret Brennan claims Nazis "weaponized free speech"

One would think normal news media would defend free speech, but not our MSM propaganda media. They go right along with the globalist attack on freedom of speech. The latest case involves Margaret Brennan of CBS News.

In commenting on Vice President Vance's rousing defense of frredom of speech in Munich, Ms. Brennan responded with the inane comment that "the Nazis weaponized free speech". This woman is totally clueless. The totalitarian Nazis soon after taking power began banning anyone who disagreed with them, a massive crackdown that destroyed free speech in Germany. They banned all other political parties other than their own. They shut down newspapers that did not agree with them. They sent the Gestapo around to arrest people who dated speak out against them. How in the world is destroying free speech supposed to be "weapoonizing" it?

Was Brennan just that clueless or was she trying to spin fake facts to try to manipulate history for her political purposes? We should remember her very biased handling of the CBS debate in the last election.

The MSM has already lost most of its credibility for its slanted rake news over the last few years, which a great many Americans have now woken up to. Is Brennan trying to dig their hole deeper?

Now the Editorial Page Editor of the Wall Street Journal has blasted Margaret Brennan for "censoring speech she doesn't like" in an article in the WSJ.

The Orwell quote is spot on. Margaret Brennan was speaking in Orwellian "Newspeak" when she called censorship "free speech". It is disgusting that this woman was let anywhere near a presidential debate.

The question is whether Margaret Brennan is stupid or if she thinks her audience is stupid.

I suggest she visit Dachau, the German concentration camp opened the same year the Nazis came to power. I found it a very sobering place to visit when I was there some years ago. One thing she would learn was that the Nazis were putting people in concentration camps years before they started rounding up the Jewish people. In the first few years of Nazi rule, it was those with differing viewpoints who were sent to Dachau; politicians of other parties, journalists with different viewpoints, citizens who dared speak against the Nazis. The Holocaust of the Jewish people came later. The first thing the Nazis did was get those with views opposed to theirs out of society. It also did not matter what someone's status was. Both sons of Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinant, the Austrian crown prince whose assassination sparked World War I, were sent to Dachau because they dared apeak out against Hitler's annexation of Austria.

The Nazis goosestepped all over freedom of speech in 1933 and Margaret Brennan is way off base saying they "weaponized" it. What they actually weaponized was censorship. If you disagreed with the Nazi agenda, the only safe thing to do was keep your mouth shut and hope they did not find out.
