Why Do Democrats Want to Shut Down the Federal Government? | Eastern North Carolina Now

Remember back when we had this congressional "11th hour" standoff, and if they did do as they were advised by Candidate Obama, then the Candidate and his minions would teach the Republicans a political lesson that they would not soon forget. Well, we're there now.

ENCNow
Democrats want a clean Continuing Resolution to continue business as usual, but will not negotiate. Some things never change.

Remember back in August, 2011, when we had this same congressional "11th hour" standoff, and the Republicans were advised by Candidate Obama to fall in line with the raising of the debt ceiling absent any fiscal budget, or the Candidate and his minions would teach them a political lesson that they would not soon forget. Well, we're there now.

If this is political war, and I well believe that it is, we must embrace the "fog of war" and all that occurs within its hazy boundaries. First, we have a president, who considers himself a neo-monarch, but rather than unleashing the intrigue of force that would topple minor kingdoms, or, at the very least, separate a few heads from their respective host bodies, the Candidate wages political war his presidential bully pulpit, inspiring his minions, and low-informational hordes that are thankfully dwindling. Second, we have a Democrat controlled Senate that hasn't passed a budget in four years, whose Democrat Senators has just enough collective brain power among them to perform two purposes during that time: continue to elect Hapless Harry Reid as Senate Majority Leader, and pass ObamaCare, without taking the time to read it ... let alone understand it.

The candidate-that-would-be-king, Barry Obama, has taken to the political trail, yet again, with his purposeless bystanders standing as a human backdrop, and is trying to do two things: re-sell his dwindling thoughtless hordes on ObamaCare and re-teach these sad folks to hate Republicans / Conservatives / the Tea Party movement / Patriots, and just about anyone one or group that stands in the way of his political hegemony. The Candidate is a perfect example of a tyrannical demagogue, and like a political shark feasting on the exposed flesh of others, he will not stop until his immense appetite is quelled, or purpose fulfilled.

The problem with the Candidate's purposeful part is that there are Republican's standing in his way. These are Republican's that either have passed a budget, or yearn to, but can't because of Hapless Harry's inept leadership. or Candidate Barry's ambivalence to the dictates of his job. These Republicans, while not perfect, yet have the mental acuity to pass budgets, stop ridiculous legislation infringing on 2nd amendment rights, investigate the Benghazi cover-up, the IRS political favorites list scandal, etc.

This is the problem, the dysfunctionality that is the two of the three branches of government. It is the blame game. The Candidate, and his minions, can at least do this do this bit of simple math where they instinctively know that there is one of him, with the president's tremendous resources, and there are 535 members of congress, all with constituent duties that represent so many individual regions, so many different needs, many voices crying out to be heard. The Candidate, with the constant resource of the OMG (Obama Media Group), understands his great power to communicate with the low-information class that is his dwindling base, a base that has elected him twice while Conservatives were too underwhelmed in the last two elections to marshal their forces to withstand this vast Liberal front. So, the Candidate campaigns unceasingly, finding the time by playing slightly less golf, performing even less of the duties that are the demands of his office.

In short, he is the Candidate. He cajoles supporters to "believe" once again, to embrace his cause, to parrot his blaming style of governing. What usually works for the Candidate is bad for the Republic. This is why Conservatives stand up to him - to check his ambivalence to the U.S. Constitution, to the real People that this document protects.

Blaming Republicans, name-calling them as terrorists, extortionists, Nazis, etc. does not assuage the immutable fact that the Democrats controlling the Senate have not passed a budget in 4 years, where if they had, there would no need to pass a Continuing Resolution to Raise the Debt limit. It's really not complicated.

It is also not complicated that the United States is more than 17 trillion in debt, with the Candidate's administration, and his Senate Democrat minions racking up the "unpatriotic" amount of more than 1 trillion dollars of debt every year since they took office, which is more than double the run-rate when George W. Bush was president, when we fought two wars. We are not seriously fighting any wars now, since the Candidate declared the War on Terror over, and we have retreated from Iraq and are now retreating from Afghanistan. So why the huge deficit under the Candidate?

It's simple. It costs a tremendous amount of money to remain president. The People's money to provide one inferior individual his good job, the one with all the perks.

What could be worse than the money being gone to excessive numbers of well remunerated Democrats now holding a record number of Federal government jobs, the 2009 Stimulus package turned into a Democrat slush fund (think Solyndra as the tip of the iceberg. And the Candidate blames the Republicans for no further stimulus/jobs packages?)? What is equally scandalous is the welfare state promoted by ObamaPhones to keep the unproductive voting Democrat, in mass, and now is well beyond any manageable point. Additionally, there is the immutable fact that America's spirit is deeply scarred, and festers deep within; all thanks to Candidate Obama, his mindless minions, and their owned OMG.

So shut the government down. The stupids in the OMG will blame the Republicans and that "Crazy" Ted Cruz: What does it matter? So what does it matter if it takes this to solve the larger issues, not least of which is the fact that the Senate Democrats will not allow a Federal budget ... for 4 full years now. What is the larger issue here: not being served by "nonessential Federal personnel", or, rather, doing whatever can be accomplished now, or setting the stage for later, to rid this Republic of state sanctioned socialism, public financed Democrat payoffs financed by untold trillions of crushing debt going on and on, and welfare first / welfare forever for those that will not work, but will always vote Democrat.

Shut it down. Shut it down now. Hallelujah, shut it down ... or forget the Republic tomorrow. The alternative: The Republic will not continue in an Obama / Democrats (the pathetic stupids that they have become) of today's America.
