Kash Patel Just Ended Adam Schiff: ‘Go Ahead And Run To The Cameras’ | Eastern NC Now

    FBI Director Kash Patel unloaded on Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) during a Tuesday hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, calling him a "political buffoon" and an "utter coward" who was fine with lying to the people as long as he could use it to keep the political donations coming in.

    Schiff kicked off the heated exchange with a question about convicted sex-trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving time for her crimes related to the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, asking about the fact that she'd recently been moved to a minimum-security facility.

    Patel said that the Bureau of Prisons had approved the transfer, but Schiff mentioned Maxwell's meeting with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and argued that the timing made the move suspect. "You want the American people to believe that? Do you think they're stupid?"

    "No, I think the American people believe the truth. That I'm not in the weeds on the everyday movements of inmates," Patel replied. "What I am doing is protecting this country, providing historic reform, and combating the weaponization of intelligence by the likes of you and we have countlessly proven you to be a liar in Russiagate, in January 6. You are the biggest fraud to ever sit in the United States Senate. You are a disgrace to this institution and an utter coward."

    Schiff attempted to shout Patel down throughout, pointing his finger and repeating, "This stinks to high heaven."

    "I'm not surprised -" Schiff said.

    "I'm not surprised," Patel shot back. "That you continue to lie from your perch and put on a show so you can go raise money for your charade. You are a political buffoon at best."


    "I'm not surprised ... You can take - you can make an internet troll the FBI Director, but he will always be nothing more than an internet troll," Schiff insisted, smiling.

    "All you care about is a child sex predator who was prosecuted by a prior administration, and the Obama Justice Department and the Biden Justice Department did squat, and what did President Trump do? Bring new charges, courageously. And what have we done?" Patel continued. "Thirty-three thousand pages of information ... Go ahead and run to the cameras, where you want to go now."
