In Finland, a member of parliament is being prosecuted for "hate speech" and "war crimes" for posting a Bible verse online. The case is now at the country's supreme court on a prosecution appeal after she was found not guilty by the trial court, which was affirmed by the intermediate appellate court.

Now, our neighbor Canada, under a Liberal government, is moving forward with legislation that will allow religious speech to be prosecuted criminally as "hate speech". Until now, at least religious speech had been protected from their authoritarian speech code, but Liberals in parliament have struck a deal to change than. The Conservative Party is fiercely opposing this travesty, but they do not have the votes in parliament to stop it.

Prosecuting free speech? This is Canada's Josef Goebbels moment. They are heading down the road to Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia. No wonder, secession talk is rife in western Canada.
