Queen Garris Runs Amuck Again

It is becoming embarrassing and routine for Queen Garris to continue to assume her autocratic, abusive, ill informed and undemocratic behavior. She seems to be oblivious to her political indiscretions. She has proven over and over that she has no understanding of or deliberately violates the rules (The Plan of Organization) of the Beaufort County Republican Party. These rules provide for the orderly operation of the Party and fair treatment of every registered Republican in the County.
The Beaufort County Republican Party, during the last approximately ten years, has repeatedly endorsed their favorites, mostly RINOs, and openly advised and campaigned against conservative Republicans. Numerous Republicans have called me or came by my office to tell me that operatives at the Beaufort County Republican Party headquarters had advised them not to vote for me because, they say, I am not a true Republican. Queen Garris has deliberately filed charges of disloyalty against conservative Republican Tandy Dunn while at the same time ignoring Fake Frankie Waters writing checks to Democrats. She repeatedly tried to strip me of my rights as an elected Republican and even brought criminal charges against me.
Queen Garris, in her capacity as Chairman of the Beaufort County Republican Party, operates as a dictator. She has appointed a secretive “Victory Committee” consisting of her cronies. They have run party activities and spent the money donated by conservative Republicans to support RINOs (Republicans In Name Only). RINOs joining with Democrats are why taxes in Beaufort County are at least 20 percent higher than they should be.
Queen Garris has gotten away with her outlandish behavior by using a variety of tricks such as, abruptly leaving the Executive Committee meetings, calling police, not allowing certain people to speak, failing to follow the Plan of Organization, and citing the secret “Victory Committee” as an excuse for questionable behavior. She finally identified the members of the Victory Committee. They are Ashley Woolard, Keith Kidwell, Paul Varcoe, Greg Dority, and Steve Rader. Hopefully the members of the Executive Committee will stand up to her. Most members are so intimidated by her they are afraid to second motions. She has not appointed a parliamentarian, so anything goes.
Her latest antic has to do with the article I wrote last week in which I advised that voters should be careful of any candidates endorsed by the Beaufort County Republican Party AT THE VOTING POLLS. I mentioned that she and her ilk are not supporting conservative commissioner candidate Stan Deatherage.
Queen Garris, using her flawed and politically unethical logic, sent the following to Stan Deatherage. “This quote in your publication brings into question your desire to be endorsed by the Beaufort County Republican Party, please advise me by 12:00 pm Friday. Your failure to respond will be considered a no answer”. This is incredibly high handed and politically dishonest. Garris did this on her own, without any communication with the Executive Committee. By doing this she proved my claim that she and her ilk are not supporting Stan Deatherage. She and her ilk are supporting Ashley Woolard and John Edwards before proven incumbent conservative Republican Stan Deatherage. This is an outrage. The Beaufort County Republican Party has no choice but to support every Republican who survived the primary elections equally.
Deatherage answered her. She did not like the answer. She added insult. She demanded that Deatherage answer her by 12:00 pm Friday (August7). She said: “Your failure to respond will be considered a no answer”. She has no power or authority from anyone to make such a demand. She must think she is very important. She is under the delusion that she is the owner of the Beaufort County Republican Party.
Queen Garris’s behavior reminds me of the antics that go on inside the Democrat Party. The Democrats have built a pecking order that has allowed socialists and communists to hold high ranking positions as candidates and elected officials.
In order for Queen Garris to prevail as a “Party Boss” she has to eliminate and/or suppress free speech. The intimidation of members of the Executive Committee is a key element toward dictatorship. This is why myself, Stan Deatherage, and one or two others are constantly under her attack. Queen Garris’s only complaint to the Judge during her lawsuit against me was: “He comes to meetings and asks questions”. Garris and her ilk on the Victory Committee want domination and dictatorial control.
In order that our Constitution survives and we continue to have freedom and democracy in this country we must have free unintimidated speech. Once the party bosses get control of both the Republican and Democrat Parties our nation will become a socialist/communist dictatorship. No free person will be safe.
Political debate and the open and free exchange of information and ideas is critical to the success of our democracy. Already, we have lost a lot of our rights. All governments want us to believe they are there to provide for us. This is not true in a democracy. People are there to provide only the minimum amount of money that is necessary to run government. Our governments are fat, bloated, socialistic and much larger than it is required to be to serve a democracy. Most of the cost of all our governments, city, county, state and federal, goes to socialistic programs.
An educated and informed public is able to ignore the ignorant and even stupid speech one hears today in our free-speech society. However, I believe a lot our public is becoming less educated and informed. Education is a subject for another day.

Hmmm! Secret meetings? Do they publicize them or are they invitation only? Seems downright Soviet. I wonder if they will call the result a "5 year plan"? It sure sounds like the concept is to spend more taxpayer money, not less.

Washingtonian, what are those fake "citizen committees" lobbying for? What do we need to watch out for?

Under the approval of the City Govt, and head spokesman Perreault, Washington has given a subtle authority to several Citizen committees to lobby the City to take certain actions. As these committees are guided by the City from the start, all their lobbying will be what the City already WANTS...without the Govt taking the blame for it. As they are useful idiots, it will be another shadow govt posing as grassroots. Prove me wrong.
BTW, if Sadler had the power ya'll think he does, then the Metropolitan Homeless Shelter would have been approved at this week's Board of Adjustment meeting. |

Washingtonian, one constantly wonders about the hidden agendas in Washington city government. One is Sadler's crusade to get the mayor's job back, with Tyre and Horton his go-fers. Another is the longtime goal of the Sadler group for a DEI hire as city manager. To them, the worst thing about Rorie was probably the fact that he is a white straight male., so he simply had to go to make way for "social justice" That he kept the wasterful spending for those absurd DEI outreach staffewrs to blacks and Hispanics was not enough to save him.
As far as safety in the city, spending big bucks out of the police budget to hire those two DEI outreach staffers, which was done under Sadler wasted money that should have been spend on law enforcement. Why should our law enforcement budget become a slush fund for "social justice" nonsense? |

Regarding the Ray Leary disclosure, it begs the question: Where is their Plan of Organization Committee? Is anyone even trying to come into compliance with the new state plan? If they had a PoO Committee, would the committee even report back to the overall committee? I think the answer is, Chariman Garris makes it up on the fly with her dictates while her clapping seal supporters allow it to happen. And think about it. When has the Victory Committee EVER reported to the Executive Committee.
Talk to people that have served on real committees of this type. I have. They have never heard of such mess as what happens in Beaufort County. Hood's criticisms are well founded. In answer to Rationality Observatory, maybe the articles would stop if the abuses stopped happening. These articles are a public service. The community needs to know how screwed up this organization really is. |

Are the identities of the volunteer committee membership also secretly held by the CITY?
And can we lobby these members to share city issues from our own knowledge and experience? How do we contact them?
Where did the idea for these committees come from? I suspect it came from the Planning Dept, where Perreault also serves on the Planning Board.
Inquiring minds want to know.
