Al Klemm: 'I Was Against ObamaCare Before I Voted for It' | Eastern North Carolina Now

Keeps in the Democrat clique by voting for a Democrat, once again, to be chairman of the Beaufort County Board of County Commissioners

RINO Al also made sure that a Resolution important to sustaining the Founding Principles of this nation failed to the liberal whim of his most valued friends - Democrats. Passage of the Resolution failed 3 to 4.

At the December, 2013 general meeting, Beaufort County Commissioner Al Klemm, the acknowledged chairman (or is it vice-chairman?) of equivocation, expressed that he would 'not insult his Democrat friends', in any strongly worded resolution begging for their bipartisanship in fixing ObamaCare. In effect, he was, once again, the deciding vote to stand firmly in the path of doing the right thing, by defending Democrats, when other Republicans endeavored to help the working taxpayers of Beaufort County, irrespective of their party affiliation.

But that's Al Klemm - the perfect gentlemen Democrat. Always voting with Democrats, doing their bidding, fitting in for the good of their people. What is incredible is that Al Klemm is actually a registered Republican; a verifiable RINO of the first order, and no one with a full working brain actually buys into that load of manure that he is, or ever has been a Republican ... no one!

Accordingly, Al Klemm, for 7 years running, has consistently voted with Democrats on issues important to Liberals, and tonight, as Al Klemm embarks on his last year as a commissioner (so he says), was no exception. Tonight, RINO Al Klemm: voted again for a Democrat to be chairman of the Beaufort County Board of Commissioners over Republican Commissioner Hood Richardson (I suppose he isn't conservative enough for ole Al) - seven straight years now voting for a Democrat over Hood or Stan Deatherage (me) for chariman; voted against oversight and accountability of, and for the Democrat Sheriff, and his 20 million dollar proposed jail /sheriff's office to be built far outside of the county seat; and then voted not to chance the insult of any North Carolina congressional Democrat over the begging for bipartisanship in correcting ObamaCare ... and this was a light general meeting schedule.

Al Klemm tells everyone, that will stop long enough to listen, that he will not seek another term, but anyone that really knows Al knows that Al uses words to make one think one way while he deceptively moves in a different direction. Yep, everyone that really knows Al, and, once again, possesses a full working brain, knows this Klemm quality well, and some of us prepare for that constant eventuality of his trademark equivocation masking his outright dishonesty. Beware of this politician

I am, and have ... you should.

Here below is the resolution that I wrote to beg for the correction of ObamaCare. It is direct, honest and true. Also believe this extra-truism: I would have written the resolution to be quite a bit more harsh, more "insulting" to Democrats, if I thought it would have passed Beaufort County's Liberal majority on the county commission.

Resolution to Beg our North Carolina Congressional Delegation to Correct ObamaCare

Whereas, the Affordable Care Act, affectionately known as ObamaCare, was signed into law on March 23, 2010, after a straight party-line vote in the United States Congress legislating its origin, and then adjudicated as constitutional law, by the United States Supreme Court, as a new tax levied by the Democrats upon the People of this nation, and,

Whereas, ObamaCare effects, and will effect every American, at every level, at some time, as the Federal government seeks to transform the fundamental necessity of health care into a government asset, and therefore becomes more of a controlling force in one sixth of our nation's economy, and,

Whereas, many Americans are just now realizing that the economic construct of that aforementioned one sixth of America's economy, as well as their personal health choices have been irrevocably changed as an intended consequence of ObamaCare, and they must now abide by this legislation, whether or not that was their choice to do so, and,

Whereas, ObamaCare, by the sheer weight of its cost and its encumbrance upon Americans by its unmitigated transformation of these fundamental needs, is now, and may well always be the greatest 'bait and switch' scheme in the history of the United States, and,

Whereas, Americans, by virtue of this elaborate 'bait and switch scheme', were sold by this Democrat President, and these Democrat Congresspeople that ObamaCare: 1) would 'not cost individual Americans one dime', but then argued before the Supreme Court that ObamaCare would be a 'tax' upon the American People; 2) debated that the cost of implementation of ObamaCare would be less than one trillion dollars, as graded by the CBO (Congressional Budget Office), but now that cost is scheduled to approach nearly 3 trillion dollars with no end in sight; 3) Americans were told, by Democrats, as a legislative ploy, and then a presidential election gimmick, 'If you like your insurance plan, you can keep your insurance plan ... period', but ObamaCare regulations were written to force insurance companies' health plans, that did not conform to the the strict dictum of ObamaCare, to cancel their subscribers; 4) Americans were told, by Democrats, as a legislative ploy, and then a presidential election gimmick, 'ObamaCare will not cost more than your current insurance policies, and in some cases it will be less', but most Americans are now finding that ObamaCare will cost much more than was originally promised; 5) Americans were told, by Democrats, as a legislative ploy, and then a presidential election gimmick, 'If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor ... period', but Doctors, encumbered by the authoritarianism of ObamaCare, are opting for altered patient arrangements, with the consequence of such - Americans are losing their personal doctors in large, and growing numbers; 6) Americans were told, by Democrats, as a legislative ploy, and then a presidential election gimmick, 'signing up for ObamaCare online will be as easy as shopping on Amazon', but after nearly two months since the incredibly inauspicious roll-out of the website, few have been able to sign-up, with most, or all of these people's sensitive and personal information compromised to the nefarious whim of hackers, and,

Whereas, and furthermore, the ObamaCare website has cost the American taxpayers nearly 600 million dollars, is of an abysmal construct, will probably need to be scuttled, and well symbolizes the hubris of elected politicians, who have far too many assets, resources, and far too little real functional intelligence, and,

Whereas, and furthermore, again, if a process as simple as the construction of a website cannot be completed, with these vast resources at this stratospheric cost, and made reliable and worthy as an efficient e-commerce platform in three years: Can we be certain, or reasonably expect that these liberal politicians and their pathetic bureaucrats can further administer ObamaCare, with every American's health care in the balance? And,

Whereas, some Republicans in congress, have called for the termination of ObamaCare, solely on the basis of our Founding principles, but have also offered many credible alternatives and fixes, however contrary to the Democrat talking points of group-think, and,

Whereas, we hear the plaintiff congressional cries of Republican partisanship from Democrats; however, any reasonably intelligent person can clearly understand that ObamaCare was partisan legislation of a political nature, where even the pathetic quick fixes of Democrats continue to illustrate bad politics trumping good policy, and,

Whereas, for the considerable ill-will of today, or, alternatively, for the bright outcome of a special foresight of a better healthcare future, Democrats own ObamaCare, and it is entirely up to the Democrats in congress to accept the help of Republicans, or continue to bully through this ill-conceived, inadequately understood and poorly implemented law to it's fruition, and,

Whereas, North Carolina, as per qualified research groups, will be hit the hardest of all 50 states in terms of an increase in the proposed insurance rates related to ObamaCare - some increased rates approaching 300 percent, and,

Therefore, let it be resolved, Beaufort County Board of County Commissioners do ask, and expect the Democrat members of the North Carolina congressional delegation to work constructively with Republican congresspeople, to extend the political hand of bipartisanship, and use these Republican's knowledge of real world matters to help extricate themselves from the political condition that they have placed themselves, and their constituents in by this 'transformational' ObamaCare.

Written by Beaufort County Commissioner Stan Deatherage for passage on December 2, 2013, and subsequently sent to every member of our North Carolina congressional delegation, the president of the United States, and the 99 remaining North Carolina Counties.
