Somehow, the week passed until it, at last it is Saturday. During the summer, one day is much like another. They feel the same, with the exception of a Sunday -Sunday always feels like Sunday.

The wind gusts yesterday were over fifty and they blew all day long. The river, in the small town, where I work has been blown off its' course. No longer is what lies beneath it, a secret.

I arrived in Elizabeth City, early in the afternoon, on Wednesday. It had rained the whole day. When I crossed the three rivers, it was impossible to see where the rivers ended and the sky started, on the horizon.

The spirea has tiny little blossoms, at the rabbit patch. A few of the azaleas do too. The roses are still blooming-and why not?

The rabbit patch has been full of shine, these last few days. Rain, and its' cousin fog, seemed to have "hightailed" it off the territory and in its' place has been bright sunlight.
