It remains unseasonably warm, so much that the flowers meant for March are making their presence known. There are reported sightings of daffodils and hyacinths - and I have seen first hand the spirea.

The windows are up at the rabbit patch and the birds are singing. Daffodils are beginning to sprout, but I am too old to be fooled, at least by this . . .It is February.

I did not see the sun rise this morning. Most days, I do. It felt odd to wake to "a bright and shining moment" on the rabbit patch.

My drive home from work, takes me by quiet pastures and large expanses of fields. Parts of the trek is wooded and there is a little bridge with a curve just beyond it.

January is more like itself today. There is a cold wind blowing, pruning the winter trees and warning the daffodils all in one breath.

The rabbit patch has been full of shine, these last few days. Rain, and its' cousin fog, seemed to have "hightailed" it off the territory and in its' place has been bright sunlight.
