This I know to be true - there are many so-called Republicans that put personality first, rather than being accepting of the differences within others; while forsaking the party platform when it suits them to do so.
This bullet point acceptance of what it means to be a Republican, which suggest a lack of depth within those who would attempt to lead, and act as a representative of others; therefore, they, in turn, act as the RINO Whisperers that lend credence to this inarguable RINO epidemic here in Beaufort County, a condition of which that has caused Beaufort County government to long suffer under its non "Republican" /Democratic Socialist leadership, a terrible spell of wrongly doing the People's business. People get the government they deserve, and when RINOs and RINO Whisperers are in leadership positions, the People, in essence, are being lied to, and OUR Good People need to know these truths.

Speaking of PACs: The Beaufort County Republican Party operates like a PAC instead of like a political party. Executive Committee? Just ignore them! They are a completely rogue outfit.

Kidwell votes consistently conservative in Raleigh. If you look at the out of county operatives who recruited Armstrong, he is very unlikely to do so. It is also telling that Frankie Waters tried to recruit Armstrong to run for the county commission. Think about it - would Frankie Waters try to recruit anyone who was conservative to run for anything, particularly the county commission?????? Frankie Waters is also heavily involved in Armstrong's campaign against Kidwell. What thinking conservative wants to be on the same side as Fake Frankie on anything?????

I wouldnt vote for Kidwell even if John Steed paid me!
He is a lousy representative because in reality he works only to represent his own agenda. What is that agenda? More power I imagine! I begged for help from him and he didnt lift a finger for me. Eventually he just ghosted me. I guess I was too small to bother with. *Just say NO to Kidwell.*

Keith Kidwell is a staunch supporter of border security and of dealing firmly with our illegal immigration problem. He is a proven friend of border security.
Jimmy Dixon is a big farmer who is soft on illegal immigration because he and his buddies hire illegal aliens. His recruit Armstrong is also a big farmer and his local support group consists of big farmers who also hire illegal aliens. I am not sure if Armstrong himself has any currently working for him but I am trying to find out. These people are NOT friends of border security. They are weak on illegal immigration. They want to keep illegal aliens working on their farms. Replacing Kidwell with Armstrong would be an absolute disaster for border security. Armstrong would be like a junior Tillis. Berger and Dixon constantly pander to special interests and there is little doubt that Armstrong would follow them. Too many special interests are weak on immigration issues. Tillis has been bad on immigration due to pandering to them.

Are elected officials like Garris allowed to hold office on this executive committee? This Kidwell character is allowed to bloviate past his allotted times adding little substance while bullying his way through meetings like a bull in a china shop!
It’s time for him to go like Tillis or better yet just change your party affiliation from RINO to democRAT. Anyone dissenting or questioning, especially Richardson appears to be ignored and stifled in their objections to seemingly parliamentary misdemeanors that are in fact serious transgressions of board etiquette. Additionally, your committee leader Garris along with ex-officio member Kidwell appear to be attempting to ignore and burry a serious lawsuit. My recommendation is that real Republicans resign and disown this organization if serious changes are not made especially before their liability is brought the court through this lawsuit.

Darren Armstrong was recruited by ultra-RINO Jimmy Dixon of Duplin County on behalf of liberal RINO senate boss Phil Berger. Dixon is the liberal anti-gun legislator who blocked key gun rights legislation in this legislative session. Berger has been responsible for a long list of liberal legislation from letting men into womens restrooms to the NC Green New Deal to the Obamacare Medicaid expansion to trying to put out NC shrimpers out of business to trying to spread casinos across the state. Anyone who would align with Dixon and Berger is NO CONSERVATIVE. Armstrong also has a history of a big time Marc Basnight Democrat when he lived in Hyde County.
Both Dixon and Berger have sold their souls to the special interests. Dixon is a farmer himself but in this legislative session tried to screw farmers two ways. He tried to put raw milk farmers completely out of business. He also tried to protect a big out of state chemical company which put chemicals they knew caused cancer into farm chemicals from being sued by NC farmers who got cancer from those chemicals. Dixon was willing to stab his own people in the back to play up to the special interests. Beaufort County does NOT need our own version of Jimmy Dixon in the legislature.

I agree w Befuddled.
Three more years of Trump is not going to save this country nor Beaufort County. If a Dem gets elected to the WH just bend over and kiss your cherished liberty goodbye. I watched a video of an English woman in England say: "This is the beginning of the end. There is no going back for us." That may be true for the USA as well. All I can do is vote the scroundrels out...and that begins with Kidwell. I'm voting for Darrin Armstrong who I understand has a home in Belhaven. I wouldn't vote for Kidwell, even if he were the only GOPer on the ballot. His contempt for the people he is supposed to represent is obvious. Good Riddance! "If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear. George Orwell."

I heard the Beaufort County GOP meeting was a disaster. According to a long-term member, even the items already on the agenda were handled incompetently. The example he gave was the election of Board of Elections recommendations. He said it was done in a manner he had never seen before and was not done seriously. Even worse was the situation where relevant business was not on the agenda and was blocked from being allowed on the agenda. His summation was, "they are the mafia, except that there is more honor in the mafia."
With the influx of unsavory individuals on this committee in leadership positions many good and decent people have left. I'm guilty too. Good people need to come back. The Beaufort County Republican Party has hit rock bottom.

The Hood is right: I was there; the Beaufort County GOP meeting, on December the 18th, was a complete fiasco, and an embarrassment to the local Republican Party, once again, and in every manner possible.
First, why have a political business meeting scheduled before a so-called Christmas party, when the business at hand was not properly broached? Secondly, why spend well over ten thousand dollars on a nonpartisan election, with NO Beaufort County GOP Executive Committee authorization or oversight, then not meet for 3 months during that election season, and then ham handedly attempt to tie a bow on such malfeasance at a planned Christmas Party? It makes no sense whatsoever, especially when those at the meeting, who took umbrage with such terrible political behavior, were not allowed to speak directly to the issues so boldly recognized and at hand. It truly was not only a political fiasco, but one big ugly mess, and papering over such alleged malfeasance with the trappings of Christmas just made all of these muddled matters so much worse.
