JS: If you are referring to a cat fight between conservatives and the self-proclaimed "True Republicans" it is important to recognize that the "True Republican" party leader in Beaufort County, and her minions, are publicly attacking conservative Republican candidates in a general election season. It is not right to be doing this under the banner of the local Republican Party. There is abundant evidence pointing this out. You seem to be minimalizing her behavior. It is clear that this is just not appropriate especially in a general election season. Her behavior has brought us to a point well beyond any possibility of a credible vote of confidence. This is the reality of this sorry situation.

People of Beaufort County: Until the Beaufort County GOP turns itself around and toward the light of transparency, you would be wise to be distrustful of their ambitions.

"STATEMENT FROM CHAIRMAN CAROLYN GARRIS OF THE BEAUFORT COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY:

The Beaufort County Republican Party exists for one purpose -- that is to get Republicans elected.

I was very disappointed to read the latest Facebook comments by non-Republican Washington City Councilman Joe Davis where he blames the Beaufort County GOP Victory Committee for the City of Washington's current leadership crisis. Davis seems to feel the Republican Party is to blame because the sole GOP member of the council is young and a relative newcomer to politics, while harping that Republican strategy cost seats in last November's election.

That is asinine. So is Joe Davis.

Joe Davis voted against a tax cut he promised the voters. Now he wants former mayor Donald Sadler, defeated in the last election by the will of the voters, to fill the vacant city council seat after attacking his policies during the campaign. When the just fired city manager threatened to hold Davis accountable for violating city ordinances with his questionable business practices it was clear the man's tenure would be short-lived.

So how did all of this happen?

Last November’s City of Washington municipal races were decisive and I feel it is important for the people of Washington, and Beaufort County, to know the difference between the actual party and a group who calls themselves the Beaufort County Republican Conservative Club. The Beaufort County Republican Party has very strict rules which require us to support Republican candidates at all levels of office, which also includes “non-partisan” races. The Club which is run by Hood Richardson and supported by Stan Deatherage, and his publication Beaufort County Now and its sister the beaufortobserver.net, do not adhere to the same rules as required of the county party. Historically the club and those publications have supported many non-Republican candidates over the years and recruits these candidates via signs posted along the public road with no vetting other than one simply calling them up.

The party recruited and supported five Republicans for City Council. We worked hard to support each and every candidate and did so in a manner to promote true Republican and Conservative causes. The paid campaign materials approved by the Victory Committee such as radio ads and mailers promoted all five Republicans running for city council evenly and fairly. We were aware of the political reality that getting all five seats was nearly impossible however every one of our candidates was supported just as hard as the ones who were elected. And we have no regrets for doing just that.

Here is where the confusion lies. Hood and Stan’s PAC Club and online political publications acts as a defacto propaganda arm of this group that heavily supported and promoted then Candidate Joe Davis and viciously attacked one of the Republican candidates. There was much confusion in the community due to citizens not understanding the difference between the actual party itself and the Political Action Committee club and these named political propaganda sites run by Richardson and Deatherage. Richardson and Deatherage have worked hand in hand on the county commission for decades while their PAC/publications combination often serves to obfuscate the true facts.
Foremost, the party could not promote nor endorse Davis because he is not a member of the Republican Party. Secondly many rank and file Republicans had severe concerns regarding Davis and his very disturbing behavior at the Board of Elections once early voting began.

To say that Davis’ tenure on the City Council has been problematic and heavily scrutinized by the community would be an understatement. I have had many people reach out to me and members of our team with multiple concerns about the questionable behavior of Davis as an elected official.
To be crystal clear once more: Joe Davis is not a Republican but is a registered Unaffiliated candidate recruited by the club and supported by Richardson and Deatherage. The Beaufort County Republican Party in no way supported nor endorsed Davis.

The actions and behavior of Davis as an elected official have indeed drawn criticism and rightfully so. His candidacy and election was not due to the Republican Party but rests solely with Hood Richardson and Stan Deatherage and they should be examined for their intentions and motives in supporting this non-Republican in such a vital race. Joe Davis is not the type of individual a true conservative Republican would support; his attacks on the minority community and those of other religious beliefs are beyond the pale and should be called out by the citizenry.

The bottom line is the taxpayers here in Beaufort County are being burned at the stake with massive tax increases causing even more hardship to our fellow citizens while so-called political leadership plays vendetta games. Now Joe Davis is making noise about bringing the defeated Democratic Party mayor back into city government while a few political insiders, a couple who have been in elected office for decades, continue to govern with the tired political shell game that has gotten us where we are today.

Joe Davis is not a Republican. Hood and Stan’s club nor publications are not part of the Republican Party.

So why are they in such an awful hurry to replace an outgoing Republican council member with a defeated Democrat?

Surely there aren’t more land deals going around?"

Certain people in the GOP need to really study the definition of what it means to be a Zionist; it knows neither party boundary nor religious boundary.

"Red China" isn't what I'm talking about, that is a deflection away from the real culprits no one wants to talk about: Israel and the "neutral" countries who ACTUALLY control banking and big tech. The "Chi-Comms" don't have shit compared to what Switzerland, Sweden, Norway and Israel have.

As far as Epstein is concerned, the Republicans have done a damn good job of releasing redacted information and dismissing the real shit, found in the Epstein files, as "conspiracy theory". The Democrats covered up the same crap the Republicans are now covering up.

In the issue of Israel: Anti-Semite, I certainly am not. Anti-Zionist, I am. I do not support Totalitarian Socialist governments..especially Totalitarian Socialist governments using the Occult (Kabbalah, Talmud, Zohar, etc) to justify their Zionist state government.

My political mentors and sponsors encouraged me to attend the 2008 RNC National Convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul. I ended up at a campground in a large adult staff cabin in which several conservative delegates were staying. Rep. Ron Paul was a rising star. I had worked with him on issues in Congress, found he had the best constitutional voting record in Congress, and supported his candidacy.

Boy, were my eyes opened. On a daily basis I heard stories about RINO double-dealing, backstabbing shenanigans.Ron Paul was receiving death threats, some of which I'm sure came from the RINO crowd. He had his own security, but on the day he was supposed to speak, they would not allow his security detail to enter the convention hall. Petty BS seemed to be the order of the day, every day. Petty RINO BS.

By 2012, several GOP state chairs lobbied me and my general counsel to come to the convention in Tampa, to advise them on constitutional and parliamentary procedure issues at the convention. We went. It was the most depressing political event I've ever attended. Everything I'd been told was wrong with the Dems was on full display. My staff and I were in a funk for a month afterwards, as if there had been a death in the family. What we saw and experienced disgusted us all.

After swearing off such, that I would never go back, I got sucked into going to Cleveland for the 2016 convention. Same dog and pony. Different city. It cemented why you guys had launched the Beaufort Observer, to provide truth and accuracy to counter the Washington Daily leftist dribble from across the aisle, and the Conservative Republican Club to counter the RINO dribble coming from within your own party. When I wasn't traveling around the country, or to Capitol Hill, and found myself a local group of wonderful people to work with on the issues conservatives actually care about: with you guys.

There were times I brought information to you that contradicted what you'd been told by prominent national groups that you should be able to trust, but that were actually part of the RINO control network.

I saw the cognitive dissonance on your faces as you tried to reconcile what you thought you knew with what I had shared. I brought receipts. You licked your wounds, and accepted the truth. That was all my mission was about, restoring constitutional governance, and you can't get that or keep that without knowing the truth.

Read between the lines. The truth has always, and always will set us free, with God's Grace to recognize it. We have a duty of allegiance and protection the Founders spoke prominently about. Initially, those terms were included in all the state constitutions, including North Carolina's original state constitution.

It was the violation of that mutual duty that was the foundation of the Declaration of Independence that provided the righteous indignation necessary for the world to know who the good guys were, who to support. They clarified at the end the DOI how important it was, by pledging their lives, their fortunes, and most importantly, their sacred honor.

Nothing has changed in 250 years in that regard, which is why Washington's Farewell Address is as relevant today as when it was written, and why the work of the Conservative Republican Club over the past 20 years, and hopefully the next 20 is so important.

As Jefferson said, "eternal vigilance" is the price of freedom. Vain and aspiring men (and women) will forever attempt to hijack and undermine righteous patriots to seize or maintain control.

Jefferson also said, "When you find yourself at the end of your rope, tie a knot in it, and hang on." Thanks for hanging on. God Bless America and those that defend Her.

Mr. Lewis, I concur..especially with your closing statement. If one would examine things as they are, with bullshit aside, they'd see that Ol' George won't and ain't too far off. Both sides are guilty as hell in this; everybody knows it.

The two biggest things, besides gas/oil prices killing the GOP right now are: Israel and Epstein. Iran takes a middle seat here but is related to what I just mentioned.

The Tiny Toons on the left are pushing for 1917 Bolshevik Communism merged with National Socialism but don't side with Israel. The Tiny Toon Mitch McConnell/Aint Lindsay Bizarros on the far right publicly denounce Socialism BUT support Israel and it's totalitarian Socialist state government.

I think the GOP is trying to cover it's own ass while, at the same time, attempting to formulate a plan not involving questions about high gas prices, Israel and Epstein.

They're running out of exit ramps.

Deja vu, indeed. Reading Chairman Garris' rant on Facebook gave me flashbacks of RINO insurrection and betrayal in the GOP that goes back 20 years. Apparently, I struck a nerve.

Within hours, not only was the post removed, but the entire group seems to have slithered back into the RINO swamp. They didn't want you to see what I wrote. After reading Hood's article, and finding out that Greg Dority is part of the Garris RINO cabal, I am even more disgusted. Part of the flashbacks I had involved Dority's campaign for Lt. Governor several years ago. I traveled half the state with his campaign manager putting out signs.

I remember how the local and district GOP leadership smiled to Greg's face while stabbing his campaign in the back.

That he is apparently a lapdog for RINO's now is disappointing.

With the Beaufort County GOP fully under the control of the continual political guile of local RINOs and RINO Whisperers, I foresaw this happening, again, that the RINO rich Beaufort County GOP (those who will NEVER support fully the Republican Party platform) would thus attack me yet again in this election season, just as they did in the 2022 General Election.

Chairman Carolyn Garris should resign immediately. This will serve as my second request.

A note to the public: Do NOT take the inner core of the Beaufort County GOP seriously as Real Republicans ... not unless you are a grand supporter of RINOs and RINO Whisperers, who will work predominately to elect candidates who will raise your taxes, and do the bidding of the status quo of heavy handed "bi-partisanship." This is their history to do so.

What we need in Beaufort County's governments are real Conservatives, not beholding to any special interest, who will cut wasteful spending, and choose wise policy over the RINO predilection to "Swap Votes (with Democratic Socialists) to Share Power here in Beaufort County."
