"Every Picture Tells a Story ... Don't it:" A Christmas Snow, Part I | Eastern North Carolina Now

This Christmas season, a rare snowstorm provided one last parting gift to the children and adults alike, who still possess a sense of constant wander, and it was gloriously beautiful.

    In the cold swirl of the relentless snow, a couple trudges East along Washington's waterfront: Above. On a most inclement day it is only natural that the plethora of Sea Gulls, above the Pamlico River, can not settle down, with the railway trestle in the back ground: Below.


    A snow covered Castle Island and a snow encrusted North Carolina Estuarium take on the guise of being insulated by fluffy, ultra-white frosting: Above and below.



    The next day after the snow stops and the sun rises is another kind of beautiful, and will make a very necessary Part II ... coming soon.
