"Every Picture Tells a Story ... Don't It:" The Road to Staunton, Virginia | Eastern NC Now

One Sunday afternoon in December, I took a short trip to Staunton, Virginia and found the trip to this very historic southern city located in the southern sector of the Shenandoah Valley.

    I suspect life is rather peaceful in the Mt. Solon, Virginia area: Above and below.

    I made this image of the church and the road leading to it because of the shadows in the snow: their angles and how they softened the landscape: Above and below.

    North and west of Staunton, Virginia, the county rolls under a white blanket soft snow: Above and below.
