For Immediate Release:

Raleigh, N.C.     Thom Tillis, conservative candidate for United States Senate and North Carolina House Speaker, today released his campaign's second television commercial.

The ad, titled "Paper Route," focuses on Tillis' background, highlighting his first job delivering papers to his work as a short-order cook, working his way through college, and eventually culminating in a management consulting career in the private sector.

"Our new ad tells a story that is common in America: ordinary people working hard to better their future. But Washington has become too dominated by the professional political class - people who don't know what it's like to work their way up," Tillis said. "As a result, our citizens are saddled with elitist policies like Obamacare that hurt taxpayers and make it harder for families to make ends meet. We can change that this year in North Carolina."

The ad will begin running on statewide cable on March 11, on broadcast in the Greensboro and Wilmington markets the next week, followed by the Greenville and Asheville markets in the weeks after. The cost of the buy totals $1.07 million through the May 6th primary election. The new ad can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cu0q6V4KV_s.
