    Alice Mary McDonell, 89 of 125 Agape Lane, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014 in Vidant Inpatient Hospice.

    Mrs. McDonell was the daughter of the late Helen and Francis Roszek and was the wife of the late Miles McDonell. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in New Bern, NC.

    Surviving include her four daughters: Patricia Tillery, Lynn Bergum, Teri-Jo Doneza, and Cindy Schneider and her husband Stephen; her four sons: Gary Bergum, Guy Bergum, Jr. and his wife Marilyn, John Bergum and his wife Sue, and Vernon Bergum and his wife Tammy; her sister Dolores Wink and her husband Joseph; 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

    Mrs. McDonell was preceded in death by her husband Miles McDonell, brother Robert Roszek and three grandchildren Robert Bergum, Vicki Bergum, and Robert Bergum.

    A Celebration of Mrs. McDonell's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 20, 2014 in St. Paul's Catholic Church, 3005 Country Club Road in New Bern, NC. As well as in her home town of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she spent the majority of her life. The second service will be held at St. Gregory The Great Parish at 3160 S. 63rd St. (60th Oaklahoma Ave) on Saturday 27th 2014 at 10:30 a.m. viewing and 11:00 mass to follow, we will gather at 2561 S. 60th St. after services. Thank you.
