    Mr. Jack Clifton Alligood, age 81, a resident of 1404 Lizzard Slip Road, Washington, NC died Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.

    A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens officiated by Fred Wilson. Timmy Alligood, Jerry Alligood, Allen Boyd, Jim McGee, Tommy Ballance and Ted Wallace will serve as pallbearers. Bobby Dale Woolard will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

    Mr. Alligood was born in Beaufort County on September 22, 1933, to the late Huel Levi Alligood and Emma Pinkham Alligood. He attended Washington High School, and later served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Alligood had owned and operated a painting business. He was a member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ.

    Mr. Alligood is survived by two sons: Marty Alligood and wife Doris of Washington, and Todd Alligood and his wife Annette of Chocowinity, three sisters, Betty Lou Boyd and Margaret Alligood both of Washington and Evy Carol Wallace of Pinetown and two grandsons, Jacob Alligood and Jeffrey Potter.

    In addition to his parents, Mr. Alligood is preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Alligood and Pete Alligood and a sister, Doris Ballance.

    The family will receive friends at the home of his son, Marty Alligood, 1323 Lizzard Slip Road, Washington.

    October 09, 1920 - February 06, 2015

    Mrs. Dorothy Kellenberger "Kelly" Buchanan, age 94, a resident of Belhaven and a former resident of Wilmington, NC died Friday, February 6, 2015 at home.

    A graveside funeral service will be held 2:00p.m. Tuesday February 10, 2015 at Oleander Memorial Gardens of Wilmington officiated by Dr. Burke Holland.

    The family will receive friends 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home Belhaven and other times at the home of Mrs. Buchanan's daughter Lisa Woolard located at 423 Dallas Paul Rd., Belhaven, NC.

    Mrs. Buchanan was born in Hanover, PA on October 9, 1920, daughter of the late Calvin M. Kellenberger and the late Ethel Little Kellenberger. She married Fred James Buchanan on November 1, 1941 who preceded her in death on December 17, 1999. Mrs. Buchanan was a member of the First Christian Church of Belhaven. She was an avid bowler, jigsaw and crossword puzzle lover and bridge player.

    Survivors are Lisa B. Woolard and her husband Danny of Belhaven and two grandsons: Ryan Woolard and wife, Patricia of Greenville, SC and Rusty Woolard of Greenville, NC. Mrs. Buchanan was the last living child of ten children.

    Ms. Judy Kay Woolard age 72, a resident of Greeneville, TN died Saturday February 7, 2015 at Laughlin Healthcare of Greeneville, TN.

    A funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday February 9, 2015 at Jeffers Funeral Chapel in Afton, TN officiated by Jeff McNabb.

    A graveside funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday February 11, 2015 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens of Washington, NC officiated by Derik Davis.

    Ms. Woolard was the daughter of the late Ernest and Margaret Juanita Woolard. She was retired from Magnavox-Phillips.

    Carolyn "Lynn" Corbitt Cutler

    Carolyn "Lynn" Corbitt Cutler, born November 12, 1939, left her earthly shell Thursday afternoon on February 5, 2015, to join her mother and father, Jane Sheppard Corbitt and Edward Graves Corbitt, for the ultimate family reunion and homecoming.

    A graveside service will be conducted Monday at 1:30 pm at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington.

    She is survived by her: loving husband of 54 years, Samuel Horton Cutler; children, Timothy Scott Cutler and wife, Mary, and their children, Thomas, Colin, Asher, Madeleine, Isabelle and Chant, of Omaha, NE; Samuel Edward Cutler and wife, Jeanne, and their children, Alex and Aaron, of Las Cruces, NM; Christopher Chant Cutler, and his children, Kaitlin, Emily, and Olivia, of Charlotte; and James Andrew Cutler and wife, Karen, and their children, Connor, Kaitlyn and Alexis, of Valdosta, GA; sister, Nancy Corbitt Sawyer and her children, Jason and Brendan, of Rock Hill, SC; brother, Christopher Lee Corbitt and wife, Lisa, and their children,

    Lynn dedicated her life to raising her children and defending the rights of those who could not defend their own through the Department of Social Services in Beaufort, Pitt and Craven counties as an eligibility specialist, welfare fraud investigator, and child support enforcement agent. She loved all God's creatures great and small.

    Born: November 16, 1935, Died: February 6, 2015

    Ralph George Williams, Sr., 79, of 322 Beechridge Rd., Belhaven died, Friday, February 6, 2015 at his residence.

    Born in Hyde County, November 16, 1935, he was the son of the late George Clafton and Milvina Wahab Williams. He was married to the former Dorothy Ange who survives.

    He was member of the Swan Quarter Pentecostal Holiness Church. He enjoyed talking and visiting with friends and Family.

    Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday February 8, 2015 in the family plot at Epworth United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pastor Mike Wheeler will officiate.

    Surviving in addition to his wife are four sons, Ralph George Williams, Jr. and wife Vickie of Scranton, Kent Williams and wife Carol Ann of Engelhard, Joe Williams and wife Melody of Scranton, Bryan A. Williams and wife Rhonda of Pinetown; two daughters Sheila W. Garrish and husband Rayford of Grassy Ridge, Esther W. Keech and husband Mack of Free Union; fourteen grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Willie Williams of Scranton, Sammie Williams of Swan Quarter; two sisters,, Madeline W. Sheppard of Portsmouth, VA and Naomi W. Spivey of Portsmouth, VA.

    He was preceded in death by a brother Mayhew Williams.

    The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
